  1. Well i had some friends who recommended Steelheart, since mistborn was checked out, I read Steelheart first. Then after reading Steelheart, they told me Mistborn was even better and I was like,"How is that even possible!?" And after reading The Final empre I definitely agreed, and now i've read all the mistborn, mitosis and I am on the last 50 pages WoK.
  2. *facepalm* of course, that half breed.
  3. I don't know what a half breed is, but it seems like it could be at least partially good.
  4. Granted, but you now have permaneant wet socks attached to your feet. I wish to be a feruchemist
  5. Buy, for sure but they probably won't know how, otherwise we probably wouldn't have space mistborn. Kelsier will have a part (at least be seen/talk to a somewhat major character) in 21st century Scadrial.
  6. Maybe it is the way aluminum reacts to the level and type of investiture in the shardblade, kind of the way god metals are normal metals with a spiritual layer.
  7. Granted, but every computer you use will run on windows '98. I wish for a really cool hat.
  8. The thing I find odd is that i went from spearman to bridgeman, which seems like a bit of a demotion to me.
  9. Buy, there are probably kandra all over, their just harder to spot then Hoid. Somebody's getting spiked in Shadows of Self
  10. Hope you like EDM, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCD2tB1qILc Tristam and Braken- Frame of mind, it has good lyrics and production.
  11. For type 1 you don't have to be a compounder, as pewter is weird and it could be stored in a goldmind, pewtermind or a steelmind since it grants speed, healing (kind of) and obviously strength, also it seems kind of like wakefulness, but that just may be Vin using it to ignore the effects of sleep deprivation in WoA and HoA.
  12. Marasi does have a book on hemalurgy though, so there could be more hemalurgy in Shadows of Self or later books, but she probably won't be spiking anyone anytime soon.
  13. I believe he was speaking to Dalinar at that time, also Hoid is the only one allowed to make those jokes.
  14. Also since WoK and AoL happen simultaneously, Hoid has to leave part way through WoK to attend the wedding between the Yomen and Ostlin that Wax also attends in AoL.
  15. Just a thought, it it truly is mass( I know it isn't) then your volume is static, so, would you float better? Since that is lowering density.
  16. Personally i'm split between bronze, copper and gold as the most useful. Wakefulness would be more a convenience thing, while gold could save my life, and the perfect memory of copper would be great to have. Also copperminds and the internet would be amazing, all of the knowledge and a way to keep it.
  17. I think we may be a little too paranoid, but still, one can't be too careful when universe hopping shards are involved.
  18. I just wanted to see what people would say about feruchemy after seeing Curiosities thread on mistings.
  19. Lurcher or thug are by far the most useful, thug might be more practical, but coinshot would be fun simply for the jumping, although lurcher can still more mobile and has more non-combative uses.

The thing is, mistings concentrate on that one ability so much, it may be more of paying attention to small details that a mistborn may look over with broader abilities, but it could be both.
  21. Would lerasium even work as a spike, considering it is entirely of preservation would it even hold a hemalurgic charge?
  22. If aluminum is like an object with high investiture, very difficult to effect with investiture, would lashings be able to move it? In that same sense, what would happen if a shardblade cam in contact with aluminum, and could it be awakened?
  23. You'd have to push quite hard on that metal, but TLR probably could, and I guess that was the point of the linchpin spike on the inquisitors.
  24. This depends on if the bindpoints for receiving and losing abilities are different, was it ever stated that they were not?
