I like it. I've seen it before but I like it. I want to see what my Matrim posts first before I give you a cookie.

You have the PC version of Skyrim? Lucky. Working on character now. Name: Duke Race: Nord Age: 37 Job: Fighter Skills: Heavy armor, Smithing, Speechcraft, Two handed (mostly blades), Destruction magic (Mostly Ice), Hand-to-Hand and Single Handed weapons. Appearance: Typical for a Nord, Duke is taller than most other people standing at almost six and a half feet tall. He has a long black, braided beard. Blue eyes with a scar that goes down the left side of his face. As with all my characters he has a lot of tattoos, traditional Nordic tattoos of dragons and knot work around his arms. Before he goes into battle he sometimes paints a raven across his face for intimidation. He usually wears a full set of Ebony Armor with an Ebony Greatsword at his side but they were stolen one night while he was at the pub in his hometown of Windhelm (Yes, Duke was a Stormcloak). Now he wears a set of Steel Plate armor with black enamel and carries a single handed Ebony sword and dagger. Backstory: Duke was once the commander of a Stormcloak Brute Squad in charge of blitzing Imperial caravans. His team never attacked civilians, only Imperial Soldiers. Duke is not as racist as most Stormcloaks but is still not a huge fan Altmer or Dunmer (He is from Windhelm after all.) A few years ago he moved to Bruma and is head of the local Fighters Guild.

I agree. People of the 4th era were lazy. Yeah you can do those if you wish. Do you want to post the list of traits Joe or a link? I think we can at least make characters and then decide on a story line to start with.
-
You mean like everyone picks seven skills to be more proficient at than others? I thinks so. And remember people this is the 4th era so people have finally discovered dual wielding.

(AS THE RAVEN KING I HEREBY ANNOUNCE THE GREAT RAVEN HUNT! The first person to find me a decent Raven Picture for my Profile wins..... a... uh... cookie) BT stood up and followed the Stranger into the hole of darkness and down the stairs, "Hey, wait! What in Damnation do ye think yer doin?"
-
Well I'm good with either thieves of fighters but I'm not very sneaky.
-
I'll be head of the Fighter's Guild.
-
A DM who controls NPCs dose get to play as Uncle Sheo, that's a perk
-
Cyrodil? Any one else have opinions?
-
Ok so i think we should decide on location and era.
-
I'd say nose goes because I want a pc but since it was my idea maybe I should. Unless someone else who has more experience would take upon the mantle of Dork DungeonMaster.

But with added bonus of MAPS! I think it's the perfect place to help with practice narrating a story. Cities and Villages and Guilds and everything are already set up. We wouldn't play into Bathesda's prisoner fetish, but we could start as already known companions meeting up in an inn in Cyrodil maybe. Or even stumble upon each other as strangers.

Would anyone be interested in doing an adventure in Tamriel? It's a place that is familiar to most of us and has an abundance of magic and weaponry and monsters. PM me if you are interested and maybe we can start up a group conversation to actually outline something out.

"Are you aware that you just vanished and then reappeared?" BreathTaker sat back in his throne, something inside of him fighting and pushing against his mind. It was screaming. "What kind of arrangement are you considering, Stranger?" The King was genuinely curious, he was also livid at the nonchalance that the creature displayed in the presence of the Raven. BreathTaker turned and looked Matrim in the eyes. This young man was noticing the change, what would he do about him?
-
After a time the Raven looked up from his deep thoughts. Black vapor, almost invisible at the distance that everyone was at, rose from his eyes. Hand on the hilt of Reaver as he lounged in his throne. His magnificent black and silver Shardplate gleamed as well did his silver crown with large chunks of obsidian and ruby. The helmet of the shard blade, with its wicked curving, dragon like horns sat on the arm rest to the kings left. The King sat up straighter and made eye contact with Mary, "Hello Mary, it's a pleasure to see you here." His once boisterous and faintly dwarven accent gone. He also looked at the Scholar and Fatebreaker, "You, with the smoke trailing you like a shadow. Speak first, what would you have of me? The Scholar must wait, the last time he requested a boon he wasted much of my time."

It only gave 7 examples is what I meant. Most are pretty obvious what order usually used which such as Wind, Stone, Vine and Flame stances. But Iron Stance and Smoke stance, I have no idea. Smoke may be Elsecallers (actually now that I read the reminds me of WOR spoiler. I digress. What could the last three unnamed stances be and what order do the Smoke and Iron stances represent?
-
So, I'm working on making a Shardblade for a costume and while I was on the Coppermind wiki I realized that there were only seven stances. Are there any ideas on what those might be? I only need Windstance honestly because I'm planning on being a Windrunner but now I'm curious. Any ideas?

They are all working on Stormlight... RIGHT PETER? *Nudges, and slightly glares.* RIGHT? -
Because it's Harmony's green-ish Scadrial, and people have weird names there.

After Lefty disappeared BT shrugged his shoulders and turned away to leave. He waved to Mat and Mary to follow him, "Mary, he'll probably break the bond but something tells me he won't have fun doing it. I'm going back to throne room, I have been away too long." BT and the group walked back out to the eel chamber where BT knelt down and carved a large circle around the three, he also carved strange glyphs inside the circle. Once the circle was complete he stood and summoned his Shardblade, a huge cleaver like thing, and slammed it into the center of the spell. The circle lit up with a bright blue wall of light and when the light dimmed down they were no longer in the depths of the caves but instead they were in the Grand Hall of Raven castle. "That's better." BT walked up to his throne and sat down in the marvelous Obsidian seat. "The Raven King has returned after a long, but pointless, adventure. You may now come and bow to me, tell me your wishes and I will deem whether they are worthy of my attention." At that he yet again summoned his Shardblade and it was revealed to be black, instead of the glowing silver that they always were, and slammed it into the ground in front of him. There was also a different look about the King, as though a shadow had been cast behind him. Whatever it was, this wasn't the same king that entered the depths of the Raven's Keep, this was a much darker Raven.

Buy, I'm pretty sure he could wave his hands and it would double. If a Stormlight game ever gets made it would be made by Bethesda.

What are you playing right now?
BreathTaker replied to Link Von Kelsier Harvey's topic in Entertainment Discussion
I busted out My level 34 Nord in Skyrim recently. I fell kind of bad though because I just dropped more cash than I should have on AC:4 and only played it for a couple days. (I had recently rented it multiple times so I'm about 55% through the game.) I fired up Skyrim because the main character in the book I'm working on is a huge half dwarf magic user so it's basically research on how the magic would work and other ideas like that. I also have an ebony greatsword that steals health that I named Nightblood.
