No, no, that scene was brilliant. I especially liked the song she chose, although I thought conscripting Sam and Remington into a chorus line was a bit over the top. Confession: Remington wasn't supposed to be a viewpoint character until I shipped him with Alice, and Kobold's comments helped his character to grow from there. It's the input from everyone that helps characters grow, I think. Agreed. It takes a lot of skill to create a world that's a hundred times bigger than the story it was made to tell, and everyone has done a marvelous job of fleshing out one corner of it.

I think a big part of it is that everyone understands their own characters incredibly well, which makes their interactions both realistic and surprising. The heroes like Revolution and Sightline are interesting because it's fascinating to see what's kept them going in such a bleak environment, and the villains are interesting because of all the different degrees of evil they possess, and their different ways of expressing it. I knew I'd regret saying that.

That's kind of how I've seen it, too. I've always pictured him dying in a karmically satisfying scene that's just as creepy as he is. But as a good human being, I feel morally obligated to nominate Nighthound for death at every opportunity. Me too! Having all of these creative writers together, tossing out all the awesome ideas we have has made it truly…well, awesome.

Upvoted as a sign of support. I lost one of my dogs last December, and it wasn't easy. She was old, so we were expecting it, but I still burst into tears at work that day. I know how hard it is. It's almost like losing a friend. But I can tell you loved your dog, which means you gave it a good life, and that's all that matters. It'll get easier, I promise.

If we're talking minor Epics, I'm bringing in Quota, the Epic whose aura negates all positive feelings and their expression. I got the impression that they're a little of both—CorpseMaker can kill them, and I think a healer can heal them, but they're mindless. It seems to me that they're somewhere in between. I think Sugar Rush is the perfect name for a Saccharine/Funtimes ship. Edit: Sounds good, Mrs. Voidus. I think maybe 50 yards (?) would be a decent range. Any other suggestions?

I love it. How big are the bird armies, and what precisely is her range for teleportation? (Also, I hope you don't have any objections to shipping, because once I see her in action, she WILL be shipped. )

Can he take over plants? If so, then yes, because the soldiers (like plants) are living but mindless. If not, then no.
