My sister made a suggestion: A gifter named The Wizard, who has powers similar to Quota's. He uses his powers to send positive emotions toward people who look like they need a smile. (She made that suggestion right after I told her about Quota. She was overjoyed and relieved to learn that he would die horribly. She also said she felt as if justice would be served, because in her words, "he's a jerk.") Edit: Dragon, maybe he could let the Unicyclist out of his closet just in time to see Epic!Unicyclist make his debut?

Firefight released early in Britain?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles replied to Vizier's topic in The Reckoners
I'm in the US and I saw copies in the bookstore today. -
Right. We keep the quotes out of the main RP so it flows more like an actual story. If you want to make sure people know which post you're replying to, put some of the other character's dialogue in your post and have your character respond to it directly. Or just mention the character you're talking to and what they're doing and people will follow it all right. Naturally, Quota blocked me from upvoting that post. I already know some of what Funtimes will do to you, Quota. It's not pretty, Quota. Not. Pretty. At. All. Edit: Sorry, Joe. We'll miss you, but good luck.

Though I'm almost certain Moral Guardian would ban Steelheart. Fortuity loves the ladies, and we can't have the young people exposed to someone who thinks impure thoughts!

I support this ban wholeheartedly. Though, since Funtimes will be there when Sam meets her pug, she'll be more than willing to enforce that ban.

Suki Trattner has a nice ring to it. It's your choice, though. In that case, here is a video of two pugs enjoying double cheese pizza, and one of a pug stealing party snacks. (Not my pugs, but they're still cute. Oh, and pugs love food. Even a Chimeran warrior pug will feel an extra bit of affection for anyone who feeds her a late-night snack underneath the table. Though, given Chimera's modifications, she'd probably refuse food from Nighthound or Lightwards.)

Thanks. Petra is a cute pug name, though. You have no idea how tempted I am to post videos of my pugs doing random cute things so everyone has an idea of what to expect from Sam's pug.

Mine too! This whole RP, actually. My goal is to have him saying "And then Nighthound died" before I walk away. (Sadly, the Tempe signing happens on a day when I work until 8, so I'd have to trade shifts, and I think that's a night when the other receptionist works at her other job. ) I had a few ideas, but I wanted to leave the final decision to you/Sam. My suggestions: Daisy Suki Lois Harley Cleo Avril Camille Mabel

Maybe Mormons have good tastes? A Mormon introduced me to Doctor Who, after all. I've been looking at pictures of black pugs, and I think Sam's life is going to get much better from here on out.

I haven't tried. I like stir fry too much. We might have to hold a contest of some sort.

I am a bookstore dweller. Fortunately it's in a mall so there's a food court if I get hungry. (I'll have to wait until Saturday to take it home, though. Having it come out just before my birthday is both a blessing and a curse.)

My last Quota post only has 3, and Koschei's massacre has 5, so...I guess everyone has a limit? Maybe? Edit: Firefight is in stores where I live! One day early! and I was afraid no one would be able to get it for me but here it is! :D I'm never going home. I live in the bookstore now.

M. Night Shyamalan's name strikes fear into my heart whenever I hear he'll be involved with another movie.
-
Isn't it obvious? Man of Steel is a highly sanitized account of Steelheart's early days, made when he was still billing himself as a benevolent but ruthless dictator. What we are seeing isn't a movie that thumbs it's nose at the source material, but an aborted and retitled propaganda piece from the near future.
-
I'd like that fight scene with almost anyone, but I think the actor who played Superman in Man of Steel would make an awesome Steelheart. Ironic, too.
-
I agree on both counts. It would be a good choice in a meta sense, I think, if they found a strong but undiscovered actor and added him to a cast full of big-name actors. As far as I'm concerned, Liam Neeson is the only actor allowed to play Prof and it will take a lot of work to convince me otherwise.

Don't worry. He'll meet his match soon enough.

There's a scene in the 2005(?) movie Marie Antoinette where she puts a diamond collar on her pug. The pug sits up straighter as she puts the collar on, then wags it's tail as the camera shifts away.

Those were Nighthound's last words, for Protector Pug decapitated him with her sharp little claws.

As do I, though I know I've heard his name before. A girl pug would be very happy if her human carried her around all day. And then Sam could give her a pink or purple ribbon, making the pug happy AND adorable. (One funny thing about pugs is that they don't like ridiculous-looking costumes, but they do like small tasteful accessories like scarves and ribbons. Whenever I give Bruno a new scarf or Mollie a new ribbon, they'll prance around showing it off to everyone. ) I will not object to how that turned out.

Boy or girl? All pugs have a ton of personality, but for the most part boy pugs are more playful and girl pugs prefer cuddling. They're all pretty rambunctious as puppies, though.

All in due time, dear Voidus. As for your other question: all pugs look cute all the time, always. Though I can see Sam with a cute little black pug following at her heels.
