Maybe this is the wrong place for me, since anything more complex than basic math gives me a headache, but...really, a possible error in calculations didn't dampen my enjoyment of the story at all. The geometry wasn't even a huge deal in the book itself, since Regalia turned out to have just been leading them on.

THAT is worth looking forward to. Protector Pug's intro is ready to go.

Still plotting Quota's death, so there's that to look forward to. Edit: They were brother and sister, not married.

Would you be able to overcome your weakness?

In his glory, he was known as Cranial Detonation, for that is what too much thinking about his weakness would cause. -

Can't share mine. Too scared. -
I would laugh so hard if Lightwards decided to show off his invincibility by riding a dinosaur strapped with dynamite off the MoNA.

I haven't been tipsy before, but I can tell you that Lightwards would be a mean drunk. Basically, there are two different types of drunks: drunk people who just love everyone, and drunk people who hate everything with a pulse. My grandpa falls into the latter category; when he gets drunk, he'll launch into slurred rants against affairs in the Middle East, state regulations, Republicans, and so on. He'll get louder and louder, until he's almost shouting into the phone about how HE'S not a BUSH MAN, because the REPUBLICANS made A LOT OF MISTAKES in the last election, and LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT…. Ahem. Basically, when Lightwards gets tipsy, he'll probably feel a slight loss of control, as though he can't get his balance completely right. He won't be slurring his speech or anything at that point, but his head should be buzzing a bit. Bright light could bother him, but it might not; mostly, he'll probably feel increasingly irritable toward Funtimes and more than a little triumphant toward Sam. He might snap at someone to keep their voice down; he might just glare across the table.

I….still haven't decided exactly how well she's able to hold her liquor. Probably pretty well, coming from a family where drinking was more of a social thing. Tipsy, she'll be probably more giggly and a bit more irritable toward Lightwards, given she just made a house float. Intervention, are you sure you made a good choice here?

You know what I want to see?

I think at this point, he bought a dictionary and went through all the D-words in search of his name. -
Here comes Doctor Drunktimes. Exactly how intoxicated will she be? Just tipsy, I'm assuming; Altermind doesn't seem like the type to risk having a mean drunk on his hands.

He said that "the seed of the Epic is inside each one." Epics act out of fear, right? So maybe he destroys because he fears the darkness inside each human being. Declaring himself the "cleanser" and one of the Four Horsemen would thus be his reaction to that fear. Is he sane? No more or less than any other High Epic, I'd say. Just more extreme in his goals.

Exterminate? You're an Epic Dalek? ...and now that you know about my love-it-with-garlic relationship with asparagus, I must exterminate you as well. So....happy exterminating? I'm good either way. And Epic!Dementor vs. Epic!Fluttershy would be weird. I think so.

Koschei. Admittedly, I hadn't thought about him in that context, but in light of certain canon events, I suppose that's an important question. Quota's influence would make Koschei even more paranoid than usual. He adopts a scorched-earth policy toward opposition—kill anyone who refuses to be enslaved and cow the slaves with brute force. Quota's powers would bring that paranoia to the forefront and Koschei would, more likely than not, kill Quota where he stood before withdrawing his healing power from everyone in his sight. Chances are he would spend a fair amount of time locked in a planning room somewhere, perhaps with Frequency, trying to determine which of his Epics was most likely to betray him. That Epic would be dead as soon as Koschei could arrange it. I don't mind.

Question for you all: How would Quota's powers affect your characters, bearing in mind Quota would be guessing the memories he was dredging up from that victim's emotions, taunting them all the while? And this goes together with another question: is there any character you want Quota to meet before he dies?

I'd be careful with that line of thought. Knowing Epics, it wouldn't be out of character for this one to wear nothing but a fig leaf.

If Moral Guardian met Obliteration, he wouldn't attack. He'd just glare and radiate pure disapproval until Obliteration surrendered.
