  1. A psychopathic former death row inmate teaches a paranoid girl how to eat metal in an attempt to topple the government.
  2. It's going to be quite the talk. I took that test, too.
  3. As Shipmistress, I am legally and morally obligated to see how that would play out.
  4. Operation Canonize Reader's Slashfics is underway. So if he really does write slashfics—which, thus far, there is no evidence that he actually does—who does he ship Vondra with?
  5. I need to work on the Unicyclist's Rending. Writer's Block got to me again.
  6. You've never seen snow? That is tragic. Seriously; I'm not being sarcastic here. The worst part about living in Arizona, in my opinion, is that it never snows in the winter and you have to drive at least two hours to see any. I hope you get to see it at least once, because there's nothing like being there when the ground is all covered in white, and the air is so cold you can see your breath.
  7. In this installment, Lady Fantomah meets a canon character.
  8. I like where this is going.
  9. If it's the name I'm thinking of, then I'm already cheering.
  10. Aaaannnnnnnd just like that, the Metal became even more terrifying.
  11. It's that long? Dang. I wouldn't have the endurance to make it as far as you have, let alone through the whole thing.
  12. I don't blame them for liking what they like at all. It just bugs me how they monopolize every single signing with questions about worlds that are so well-known by now some fans (like Edgedancer said) could answer their questions for them; while our favorite world remains virtually unknown.
  13. Called out in a spoiler tag. I'm not sure whether to be proud, or if I've reached a new low. I'll go with pride.
  14. That would be incredible. What was the timeframe for the last Q&A session? Yeah, I'm not involved in any completely insane Mistborn or Warbreaker RPs. If I could only ask one Reckoners question, I'd ask him about the Western Epic despots—namely, if there were any in Wyoming, Alaska, or the Yukon province of Canada. It wouldn't take a lot of words to respond—just a simple "No, I hadn't come up with any for Alaska and I admit I hadn't thought about Wyoming much" or "Yes, Alaska is currently ruled by the Wicked Witch of the West, who has the soul of a Windows operating system, and Wyoming has fallen to a certain literary author whose Epic powers allow her to actualize her poorly researched, badly thought-out, and horribly biased short stories about the state," it would do wonders for the backstory of a certain matter manipulator.
  15. Another forum Q&A session would be awesome. Many of our questions, while not exactly yes-or-no, would have some pretty simple responses, but those responses would be so much help for this RP. Even if we avoided the Big Scary Question™ ("How was Oregon destroyed?") we could still learn quite a bit about the world and use it for both character backstories and future event planning. Then again, we'd have to make sure we got there before all the Cosmere fans. I mean, there's nothing wrong with asking questions about your favorite books—when I read signing transcripts, I skip right over the Cosmere questions and I'm sure Cosmere fans do the same with Reckoners questions—but they have so many WOBs already. We're pretty much limited to what we get in the books.
  16. It was an awesome comic. I know! They ask lots of questions that don't matter, and lots of Cosmere questions, but when it comes to things people actually want to know? Argh. I almost wish Brandon would make a rule that at signings, questions about the book he's hosting the signing for should always take precedence. Because if we could get someone who cares about the Reckonersverse at every signing, I'd be so happy I just might….I might….
  17. I….I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but I can't stop looking at it. Of course. The Cosmere fans come out in force, but the only Reckoners question is the equivalent of "Why does Hermione Granger have such a funny name?"
  18. o.O O.o O.O Hey, Aquaman? I take back what I said about you. Please don't kill me. Oddly enough, I'm not super excited for BvS. Man of Steel was a fun movie while I watched it, but during the second viewing, I realized it was just another DARK AND EDGY take on Superman that ends with Supes breaking the bad guy's neck. In front of children. Screaming children. Has Snyder ever actually read a Superman comic book? Because seriously. I want to mail him a copy of Kingdom Come with the note "THIS IS HOW YOU SUPERMAN. UR DOIN IT WRONG."
  19. This song reminds me of quite a few Epics in this game. o.O
  20. You listened to the audio from the last signing? I haven't had the chance....so there weren't any Reckoners questions at all?
  21. I for one would like a rough timeline of different areas. For instance, a timeline for California might look like this: 4 AC: Snowfall conquers Sacramento. 8AC: Obliteration destroys San Diego. 10 AC: Meteoric rise of the Pink Pinkness thwarted when a crowd of people say her name ten times fast. It wouldn't have to be terribly detailed, but an outline of when these events happened would be super helpful.
  22. And then dying. Being their evil counterparts and then dying.
  23. Me too. With any luck, it's just headcanon and he'll leave it vague so we can continue on our merry way without worrying about canon. Of course, now that I said that, he'll probably pull a Rowling and release a detailed outline of what happened not only in Oregon, but in every town and city from Toronto to Lost Springs, Wyoming (which had 4 people in the 2010 census). I mean, I certainly wouldn't complain about the additional worldbuilding, but it would almost certainly clash with our current fanon. What would Lightwards be doing in Luthadel? Seconded!
  24. I posted it, so here's hoping someone gets to it. *fingers crossed* On a personal level, it would help me figure out exactly how much freedom I have with Funtimes' backstory (I don't think Brandon's done anything for Alaska yet, but his worldbuilding is so detailed I'm a little worried) and I think it would be good to know exactly where our characters shouldn't go once Oregon is destroyed. Also, when Mistborn!Funtimes rescued skaa!Nathan from nobleman!Fortuity, she would answer nobleman!Fortuity's very reasonable question of "Who are you, what are you doing here, and why are you stealing my property" like so: "You, my meanie-faced fiend, are not permitted to know my name. You may call me 'The Glittering One.' As for what I am doing here, I was answering the cry of the Deep Doo-Doo Bird! But alas, now that the one who made the cry is safe with me, I still hear it. Who could now be making the cry of the Deep Doo-Doo Bird? Oh. Of course." *whips out glass knives* "It is you." (Please read the above quote in a corny, fake Spanish accent for extra accuracy. )
  25. Posted anyway. Here's hoping someone sees it and asks.
