Shall we agree Reader kept this tidbit to himself for fear he'd never stop laughing if he said it aloud, then?

A father, then? Because someone named Robert McPhail has an appointment tomorrow, and if that's one of Backtrack's family, it just proves he changed his surname for reasons of prestige.

Having a Bad Day? Stop here for a Good Rant!

Why? Why do you waltz into the service department, asking for an appointment right now, and then act irritated when no one can see you right away? Why you do this? -

Hmmm….she once made a volcano erupt so two Montague and Capulet-type tribes would allow their Romeo and Juliet lovers to marry, so if Nighthound messes with Voidgaze and Big Al….

Did I mention that in one issue, she merges three men into one, then takes him (them?) through a Nature's House of Horrors that includes not only the classic snake pit and stalagmite fall, but also her floating head that is now a giant glowing skull ranting about his (their?) sins?

Oh! Oh! What if Nighthound's awkward date happened to be with Fantomah? Say her powers aren't suited to taking on Nighthound all you want; as a Golden Age superheroine, Fantomah's primary power is New Powers as the Plot Demands! Nighthound had best prepare himself for a date that begins with awkward conversation….and concludes with him dangling over the mouth of an active volcano.

I don't know, I've been on some dates….. Just kidding. They might've been awkward beyond reason, but I'd never say getting stabbed in the stomach was preferable.

I thought it meant "sup" as in the archaic English term for "dine," making him more of a Bond villain-type Epic who leads enemies into his secret sanctum and ties them to a chair before calmly explaining his entire plan over a glass of fine wine and a plate of filet mignon.

What Happened in The Dalles
TwiLyghtSansSparkles replied to TwiLyghtSansSparkles's topic in Reckoners RPG
Oh, now you step in! All it took was a sparking kiss with a sparking Epic who happens to be another sparking woman in the middle of a sparking command center! Arsenal's face, as Shiny disappeared, was a mask of fury. Shards of the plastic fan he'd broken lay scattered across the floor. A metal one spun in its place, the blades whipping by too quickly for Autumn to make them out; though if she could have, she knew they would be sharp enough to double as weapons. But she was gone. Off to aid Deathwish against yet another threat. And Arsenal looked ready to strangle her. Autumn knew that now was the time for an apology, according to him. Nearly every moment of every day was. Give him an apology, and he'd give you some peace. For a minute or two. Until another mistake caught his eye. Nonetheless, he expected one now. For leading an unscreened Epic into a command center—which she could have teleported into without her, but Arsenal would dismiss that as beside the point—and kissing her in front of him. But Shiny was gone, the shock of being dragged around and cuddled against her will leaving with her and anger rising in its place. Arsenal's eyes narrowed, and he gave one of his patented eye-twitches. Apology, Glass, that eye-twitch said. Now. Instead, she narrowed her own eyes. "I took her into a command center. I radioed you about her powers. She could've blown me up for not giving her what she wanted. And it took kissing her in front of you to make you say enough was enough?" -
Here's an article on real-life cloaking technology. Sans a motivator, you could just extrapolate from there.

Astoria is coastal, but it's also ruled by Her Majesty's Whining Lucentia, so another coastal city could be interesting.

SIXTEEN! POUNDS! OF COCKTAIL! WEENIES! Don't ask me about the purpose or tactical advantage sixteen pounds of cocktail weenies would provide. That's your job. In other words, no.

Coma, what do you think of my making Irritated Rebellion Leader a male ballet dancer instead of a mechanic? Those guys have to go through serious strength training, and his company's shows would put him within earshot of the Queens and other rulers. I doubt he'd overhear any sensitive information, but he'd be able to convince them of at least his own loyalty. Male ballet dancers are rare enough as it is, so he'd be valuable enough to be out of range of random acts of Epics, and the claim that he not only loves his work but channels negative emotions into his performances would make his extremely infrequent visits to Euphoria a bit more plausible. (And I can't come up with a decent powerset for Captain First World Problems. ) Thoughts?

I'd be wearing my Soulcaster. Please, Kobold. That implies DC actually listens to their fans.

If I ever go to a signing, I might go as Sexy Jasnah--dressed modestly, but with an uncovered safehand. That's how I feel! Why not just make the whole thing about a bunch of bikers with a propensity for random acts of violence? Oh, good. It might not fix the movie, but those tattoos really bugged me.

This version doesn't look like the real Harley. This looks like a Halloween costume I'd help my sister create using things in her closet and maybe a few items from the thrift store.Edit: But my sister's version would have longer shorts. For sure.

Why Why are you reinventing Harley Quinn She was literally perfect the way she was We adored her And now she's some biker chick with admittedly awesome boots But why Why is this necessary This is like reinventing grilled cheese by grilling the cheese separate from the bread Why
