  1. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 495249712 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 I was hoping kaladin got it on with jasnah. With him being a wind runner who they say teach ppl leadership and he is very strong willed once he stops whining and with Jasnah being so headstrong confident and intelligent, there could have been fireworks. Also, he's the only man with anything close to any academic intelligence! Lol
  2. Could some of the leaders of these organisations be heralds like darkness/nalan? The KR orders didn't always get along and after the breaking of the oath pact these differences could have been exacerbated. For example Thaidakar is hinted as being the leader or highest ranked ghost blood so far. Could he also be a herald? All the Heralds couldn't have just disappeared. That would explain the longevity and the determination of theses organisations and also their inability to work together. Also, 1 of Mr T's helpers Abrogtai or something might be important as he admits he didn't want Szeth to see her. They seem to be the only group that is keeping their society a "secret" as everyone else seems to know each other.
  3. Who do you think will teach Shallan to fight with her blade, you'd think it would be Adolin but if he's banished, it could even be Kaladin! It's too obvious a love angle so I hope this doesn't happen! Lol
  4. I think the biggest conflicts will arise from Dalinar and Elhokar. They're the ones who'll have to deal with the consequences of adolins actions. This will threaten their unity. This might be the incident which helps develop Elhokars character too because as king he will have to make a decision on it once everything comes to light. I can't see Dalinar hiding it from him. It will be a Defining moment for them both. A true test of their oaths. That's why I'm convinced he'll get banished as I've mentioned in other threads. Not executed as because he is a hero and so popular, he'll get some clemency and not get executed. He will then start his journey in becoming a KR and so will Elhokar.
  5. I was thinking along those lines. It would be great if Adolin got banished and he lost his blade. Whilst banished, he'd meet Eshonai in the chasms and maybe come across the parshendi that ran away and avoided the transformation to stormform. He then bonds a spren and gets a "proper" shardblade. This would be great for his character as he was unable to forgive 1 enemy in sadeas but manages this with Eshonai and helps her whilst he's at it. His ideal as a dustbringers could be along those lines too. Fighting or forgiving enemies?
  6. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 502155568 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 Mr T calls it evil and names it Nagoech or something like that. He also mentions Moeloch as another evil spren. The fact that Adolin doesn't feel the thrill shows he's progressing into a KR as did Dalinar. Also, his Rowers in battle and during the rana duel he hears Zahel's voice but there's no mention of Zahel's being there. I think that could be a spren doing a pattern and instructing him using Zahel's voice.
  7. We have WoB that sucking Stormlight from Shardplate is very hard, and we've never seen anyone but Szeth do it. Shardplate Stormlight-sucking strength is incredibly powerful, to go by how quickly Kaladin's Stormlight was lost to the helmet he found. I don't think u can suck stormlight from shardplate normally. Szeth could do it because gavilars plate was damaged in the battle. I'm saying Elhokar did it because he was wearing it so was in direct contact with the gems inside. There was no plate to act as a barrier. From what I've understood, Honour blades make your use of stormlight less efficient but don't increase your drawing power.
  8. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 437442864 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 It was more Zahels character that I was referring to, he doesn't seem that into the duels. Either way, if he was there then I'm sure he would've got a mention but if I'm recollecting correctly, the passage specifically says he heard his voice. It might just be Adolin recollecting what he was taught but if it is, then he does it twice so it could be the spren that is instructing him. The spren could have imitated Zahel's voice like Pattern does on numerous occasions.
  9. The honour blade itself doesn't draw stormlight it grants the wielder the ability to do that. Any surge binder can draw stormlight even from a shardsuit as long as it is cracked/damaged like gavilars was.
  10. Szeth does it just before he kills Gavilar and there's no mention of this being particularly difficult. Also, as Elhokar would be touching the gems it would b easier than an external source doing it through his shardplate. Kaladin also fuses the gauntlet he puts on in the arena, so it's really the same thing in reverse?
  11. I can't see how his 2nd ideal will specify his enemies. It'll be aimed at enemies of mankind so more along the lines of destroying or stopping tyrants/evil " I will destroy the tyrant/evil wherever it may be"
  12. Further fuel to this theory is when he was duelling the 4 shardbearers in the arena he heard Zahel's voice giving him instructions even though at no point are we told that Zahel's was in the arena. It doesn't seem like the sort of thing he would go to see either. I think that was his spren helping him again. Either that or his sword talking back? Zahel might even be the one that helps him become a radiant as Zahel's can see spren.
  13. I'm also of the opinion that Elhokar will definitely be a KR. Apart from the spren he sees, 1 of the biggest evidences we see is when his suit fails. It's presumed someone put duff gems in his suit. Now, if you think about it, that too is a ridiculous assassination attempt as with other shardbearers like Dalinar and Adolin there, the risk to him was still minimal so, I conclude that it was Elhokar himself who fed on the stormlight without realising. It most likely happened when he raced Dalinar. It's because of his insecurity about his position, the perceived threat to his life and the pressure of following Davilar that he is very weak. His oath will be something along the lines of strengthening his will. His decision making and authority. I'm guessing he'll be a Willshaper or Dustbringers. Also, if BS follows his no death, reincarnation philosophy, I reckon Ym will come back as a Willshaper!
  14. Do you think somehow Oathbringer will end up back with Dalinar? Somehow revives the spren? He did do KR type stuff before he became a fully oathed KR like when he caught the chasmfiends arm on the hunt. That's just an extra but I'm wondering how Elhokar will react because as king, he will have to deal with the outcome or the other highprinces may revolt. That's why either someone helping Adolin escape or some sort of banishment could be likely. Also, Elhokar is obviously becoming a KR as he sees spren and his shardplate gems losing stormlight was obviously him feeding on the stormlight unwittingly. Kaladin may even end up "teaching" him leadership.
  15. I think Adolin is in for a roller coaster ride which will make Kaladins seem like a walk in the park. I know Dalinar is penned in to be the Highprince Of War in the 4/5 book but it would be cool if Adolin ended up being the official Highprince of War. Although I don't want Dalinar to die! Lol Adolin has already lost the thrill so that would make him falling to Odiums influence unlikely. He may get punished. Left out in the high storm or banished! It would be cool if he came across Eshonai while banished!
