He did use Shallan shardblade when they were in the chasm. But for soem reason I just dont see him ever using shardplat
-
I don't know if this has been talked about before. But does anyone else think that Kaladin will never have shardplate. I am unsure if all KR have shardplate but to me Kaladin even if it us a talentyou learn to creat you're own shardplate I just can't see Kalidian wearing any. The only way I could see this happen is if Syl makes him. I can see him in the rest of the books just using his stormligjt and shardspear.

This is excellent. For the coloring
-
The coloring is perfect I also imagine them much more massive and smooth kind of like caverns of the Grand Canyon have been smoothed by water. I can only hope that we could get it on a cover of one of the future books. I would love to to see Shallan do a drawing with all her designs are black and white in the book and Kholinar and the wind blades would have to be full color.

There's a quote "Some said the Almighty himself had drawn Kholinar in rock, scooping out sections of ground with a fluent finger." Pg 1076 paperback. It goes on to say "Oh the citywas beautiful, but it was the beauty of an artist who wasn't quite right in the mind. The rock took the shape of rolling hills and steeply sloping valleys, and when the stone was cut into, it exposed thousands of brilliant strata of red, white, yellow and orange." This to me paints quite the epic high fantasy Kingdom and City. To me it sounds like the city itself was carved out of a mountain side high above the plains. It also says the most majestic formations With the Wind blades and enormous ,curving spines of rock that cut through the city beautifully line with colorful strata on the sides the curved, curled, rose and fell unpredictably like fish leaping from the ocean. Just with this brief description it sounds more epic than anything we've seen in movies. Do you think we could get some illustrations of the city itself in book three and has anybody seen any illustrations online and what the city looks like. I am very much looking forward to reading more about the city in the upcoming books and hopefully get to hear about it impossible flashbacksof Dalinar.

Does anybody know if the companion book will once again be at bookstores I know for a short amount of time it was at a select amount of book stores. It is said they have maps and illustrations to go along with the two books I have never seen it. Could there be Clues within the book itself for book 3 of SA.

I know we are not going to be getting any flashbacks of her but I love how Sanderson has put these flashbacks in. Maybe with Dalinar's flashbacks we can get hints towards other characters and that they all were intertwined in some grand scheme of the ghostbloods.

Good choice. To me he us to small of a guy. I like the idea of the uniforms. I loved Battel Star Galactica

This is whats my mind's eye sees when I read the character. Some of them probably sound ridiculous to some people. When I say mixture some days I think of one actor/sports athlete or singer as the character then other days I think of different actres. Dalinar-William Hurt a mix between his Robin Hood character and Thunderbolt Ross. The more I think about after listening 2 Brandon sanderson's reading on YouTube I picture his wife ad Michelle Pfeiffer. Adolin- this one's a little tough I always picture a of Chris Evans, Charlie Hunnam Channing Tatum. Kalidian- a mix of Andy Whitfeild from Spartacus and Johnny Boychuk of the New York Islanders. Teft-Kristoffer Kristofferson from Blade I,II, and III but younger mabe in his 50s. Jasnah- mixture between Olivia Wilde and Katy Perry. Navani- Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls hahah. My wife loves that show. Shallan- a mixture of Emma Stone and Amanda Steinfeld Sadeas- Rufus Sewell from a Knight's Tale
-
Yeah I'm hoping he ends up with them. And that he tells them about Kaladin which could convince them to join forces with Dalinar's army.
-
Yea he probably wont be a warrior. I juat always want the characters to be chull kicking warriors hahah.
-
I was hoping he was going to be some great warrior of the Listebers and would fight alongside Kalidian Dalinar and Adolin un hus warform
-
Who thinks that Rlain is going to be a big help latter in the books. To me it seems like a no-brainer that he will show up and be a huge help for Kaladin, Dalinar and the rest.
-
Granted I have not read all the SA book 3 updates. But the books are over 1000 each the few updates we have been given is just scratch at the top of this. Hold out hope.
-
Mabe Adolin as been acting like his mother's death never bothered him and that one of the reasons he acts so arrogant and cocky to hide the deep pain he has inside. Also mabe Brandon is miss leading the readers on how he feels about the character so we will be suprised
-
For Adolin I keep on picturing a mixture of Channing Tatum Christopher Evans and I think his name is Charlie Hunnam from Sons of Anarchy. All Are way too old to play the character. For Shallan I'm thinking more of a Emma Stone in Young Michelle Pfeiffer mix I love redheads been married to one for 6 year is been with her for 8. But Michelle Pfeiffer is a freaking goddess.
-
Good choice. I picture her face more round if that makes sense. Maybe like a young Emma Stone.
-
Yeah right off the bat I instantly pictured Rufus Sewell as Sadeas and William Hurt as Dalinar. I sometimes picture Kaladin as the lead guy from Spartacus but he's too old. I constantly change my ideas for the rest of the characters I love Shallan probably bc she is a red head but can never put a face to her.
