  1. The more I'm watching, the more I see Aman becoming desperate, reaching further and further at straws. At this point, I'm convinced that he's evil. Which means that Frozen Mint is evil too. Orlok is almost certainly not evil. I know that I'm not evil. Jondesu is not evil if Aman is evil. I trust Joe. That leaves 3 people. Elenion, Hemalurgic Headshot, and Randuir. Of these, 2 are evil. Given the way Aman is focusing on Randuir - he's not calling him out as mistaken, he's accusing him as evil. His only evidence is that Randuir is opposing his claims and supporting Jondesu. That raises red flags for me. Therefore I think that Randuir is most likely to be good. If Randuir is evil, Elenion is most likely good (I'm not actually suspicious of him, but numbers say one of them is most likely evil, unless my trust in Joe is misplaced). I don't see any scenario where HH can be good, but I'm open to being wrong. Anyone left who is good, please use lines of warding tonight. I'm a sentry, and I'm warding, and so is Joe. Jon will be. I hope that whoever's good out of Orlok, Elenion, HH, and FM will ward. And Aman, if I'm wrong, I'm sorry. But all I can do is follow the evidence. And from everything I know, it's pointing straight at you.
  2. Excellent. I'd still like to see everyone else's actions, but it's enough to make me willing to change my vote. Jondesu Aman EDIT: Randuir, Lopen told me he knew of a couple Sentries warding last night when he asked me to take my Warding off and protect him instead. To me, that lends credence to your claim.
  3. So, now we have account of a number of actions performed last night. I placed Forbiddance on Lopen. Len claims he scanned Orlok. Jondesu claims he scanned Aman. Aman claims he Warded. (Jon claims he's lying) Randuir claims he warded. So we need action claims from @OrlokTsubodai, @Hemalurgic_Headshot, @Frozen Mint, and @A Joe in the Bush I don't think that there's much to be gained by keeping actions secret. We need to figure out which (if either) of Aman and Jon is lying quickly. If we choose wrong, we lose. If we choose right, we might still lose, but we have a chance. By all means, withhold your specialization, but we need action claims to piece together this story. There was at least one line of Vigor last night - two if Aman is telling the truth. There was also an Assassin kill and a Forgotten kill, and I'm nearly certain that the Assassin is evil. So we need to be able to cross-check claims. Failure to put up will be met with terminal lynching.
  4. Yes. Joe knew. I don't know who Lopen might have told. Which could easily point to Joe being evil. It's possible, however, that I was hit by a line of vigor for a different reason. I was supposed to be on warding last night, before Lopen came to me at the last minute and asked me what I was going to do, and then to protect him instead. It would have been easy for anyone who knew what I did d1 and d3, to know that I was theoretically on that. Jondesu theoretically knew those actions, though he asked me questions in our PM today that made me think he didn't connect those dots. All things considered, I think I suspect Jondesu most. Don't forget, however, that Jondesu and Aman could both be Forgotten, and that this little fight in thread is meant to distract us from meaningful discussion, divide the lynch votes, and leave us open to a hammer at the last minute.
  5. The second artist that scanned Lopen was Elenion. Lopen told me that last night. I protected him, but was apparently roleblocked.
  6. Storm it. I know I'm innocent. I don't know about anyone else. I'll break the tie on myself. Joe
  7. Interesting theory, Aman. Full marks for effort. A little problem with your timing. Sart confirmed that there were no Forgotten non-specialists C1, while my pressure on Lopen didn't occur until early C2. Lopen didn't even respond to my PM until C3, by which time I had already guessed his role. Of course, it doesn't clear me - but your particular theory fails to match up to facts. From an objective standpoint, I can't think of a way to clear myself. I can have the Artist scan me to verify my role. But that only speaks to role distribution probabilities. I got nothing. Looking at things without my personal data points, I'm probably the most legitimately suspicious player at the moment. I know I'm not evil, but I doubt that matters. Lynch me if you like. We're getting close to dangerous territory, and I'd rather keep my village body alive and using Lines of Warding to keep the conversions out, but I'll understand if you don't feel the same way.
  8. Well, if Lopen isn't keeping things hush hush, I can give more details. I an the non- Artist that scanned Lopen. I did so d1, and could not verify that he hadn't killed DA. Which i found to be disconcerting, given his loudly stated protests to the contrary. So I confronted him about it. And then got in contact with of the Artists who had scanned him. And then didn't want to say much more in thread to avoid giving away privileged information. So there it is.
  9. Nothing wrong with your analysis of my posts. Your conclusion is wrong, but that's the fault of the limited data set, not your analysis. Mostly I'm posting off the seat of my pants. My call for Lopen to reveal was done in ignorance of several relevant rules. If I'd read through the roles more closely beforehand, I'd have handled it differently (especially doing it more in PMs). Mostly I just saw a place I thought could contribute to discussion without needing to spend more time than I had available on analysis.
  10. So, it's late in the cycle, and I haven't posted in thread yet. I have been reasonably active in PMs though. My communications have convinced me that Lopen is village to within reasonable doubt. I found somebody who did scan him d1, and he didn't make the kill. Aman is giving my gut all the wrong signals, but I end up convinced that he's evil in every single game I've played with him. So I don't actually think I suspect him - though I recognize that I might be overcorrecting in the wrong direction. I'm not a fan of the ecthelion lynch for a number of reasons, not least the fact that it's going through unopposed. But given that I'm the preferred second target for a distressing number of people voting on him, I don't have a better target. Nobody else has caught my eye really.
  11. Unto you, Aman, I shall bequeath the crown of Hoid (I want it back...). May it imbue you with his enigmatic wit, and thereby turn sharp accusations against the ones who employ them, and win friends and influence people in all the right ways.
  12. I hate papers and I hate moving and I hate my job and I hate procrastination and I hate depression and so on and so forth. Sorry, just had to vent. We're moving in a week or two, and I'm quitting my job (which means I need to find a new one) and I have 2 papers to write before the next two weeks are over and my stress level is a little too high. And my boss is...difficult. But at least quitting will take care of that problem.
  13. That's easily remedied - he can reflip his coin after he reveals, so that his new actions are unpredictable. I did think this through before I called for it. But if he is still unwilling to reveal in public, I invite him to PM me about it. I'm actually not hugely suspicious of Lopen. But I'm not willing to simply clear him yet either. Your defense and Aman's notwithstanding, I'd like to hear from Lopen himself before I let this go. Perhaps you're right about Lopen being a higher priority scan target than I initially thought. Frankly, I'd rather anyone who scanned him not reveal yet until after he responds.
  14. @TheMightyLopen If you didn't kill DA, what did you do instead? I'm not as sanguine about your innocence as Aman seems to be. Not to say I'm convinced you're guilty, but I don't think that this line of pressure ought to be given up on yet. Honestly, I think the likelihood of someone scanning you with a Line of Making last night is pretty low, but in case someone did, I'd like to have a pubic statement from you to compare. As for my lack of activity last cycle, I've barely had enough time to read everything, let alone respond or analyze. In the next 2 weeks, I'm quitting my job, moving to a new city, and have three papers to write in the meantime. Sorry this isn't #1 priority, especially on d1 - where my particular skills are nearly useless.
  15. I'm here, I'm alive. I don't tend to participate d1 much. I love the theory of the d1 lynch, but I've never managed to make it work out for me. I haven't seen anything suspicious yet, but I'll be watching and waiting.
  16. I... really don't have room for this, but it's an amazing concept and I'm feeling the itch to play again. So sign me up as Shem Onidsen, who was discharged for exposing the son of a knight senator as a Forgotten agent.
  17. I've found the QF pace to be too tinge intensive for my schedule these days. But I'd love to spectate this one
  18. I'll take a spec doc link, if you don't mind
  19. I'm trying very hard to resist the temptation to vote for stick, and then Riot it to try and save myself. I'm not especially useful to the village atm, and the most useful thing I could do right now is get lynched and reveal my alignment. BTW, Lopen, whoever has the colorful stone is almost certainly evil. Because it was them that killed Dani. You'll be able to verify that when I'm dead.
  20. I was mostly inactive C1, and didn't use my power. I've been using the spear since then, except to save myself just now.
  21. So I'm the Rioter. I Rioted Ecthelion to save myself - self-preservation and all. If you want to lynch me anyways, go ahead. Having my alignment public will be more helpful than anything else I've done this game, I suppose.
  22. I'm going to vote for Scar. And Sart - the consistent High Imperial to the end was impressive. For the last one, I'm split between Wyrm and HH - both did an excellent job of staying in character, even when it was difficult. I think that Wyrm just barely edges it out though.
