Probably for the best. A Funtimes love scene would probably violate forum (and sanity) regulations, and I can only think of like, eight synonymous phrases for "Lightwards cackled madly into his mirror."

Nice list of titles. And yes, I take pleasure in my ability to accurately identify the identities of other users. I do a pretty good job, wouldn't you say QuiteLeftinch? I feel your pain. I tried making theories when I first got here, but every time other people just came along and blew my mind so thoroughly that I forgot the original significance of my theory.

Weird, at the very least, is a great way to pass the time. I've always wondered what goes on in Funtimes' head when nopony nobody is around... It's hard to see why Lightwards and Traveler would choose to go on a stroll at midnight, though. (For that matter, I can't see Nathan wanting anything to do with an Epic unless Funtimes was also near.) Funtimes, Traveler, and Lightwards are pretty much narratively paralyzed until morning. The only plot hooks I see are the possibilities of a romantic liaison between Nathan and Funtimes, with Lightwards cackling maniacally into his mirror from the other end of the hall.

A midnight stroll? An extended dream sequence? Perhaps Lightwards, forever impatient, convenes with Traveller in the middle of the night to discuss strategy? Perhaps a bit of collaborative story-telling, showing the people of Portland settling nervously in their beds across Portland. showing the repercussions of Epic turf wars on daily life?

I saw Observer advocating the creation of a thread entirely devoted to Member Titles, so here it is. But what are these mysterious lines of text that appear above profile pictures? Where do they come from? Who uses them, and who reads them? This, ladies and gentlemen, is where you point out the brilliance of your member titles. If you've been waiting for someone to comment on how apt your title is... here is the place! Don't be shy, we'd love to hear all about it. I'll start. My title is and probably always will be "Barking Mad." I heard the phrase on a behind-the-scenes featurette for Doctor Who, in which the head writer of the show characterized the star Matt Smith as "barking mad" in real life. It made me laugh, and it stuck out in my head. Nowadays, I feel it sums up my general personality as well as the average content of my posts here. Now it's your turn. Yes, you.

I'm on Page 6 now--pretty cool stuff! Soon after that I reach the point where Lightwards comes in, and I'm pretty up-to-date on what happens after that. Then it will be back to staring at the computer screen for a week until all the other players come back. But I digress, it's best to keep the game at as slow a pace as need be. We might need to look into that subplot idea some more, though.

I'm trying to think of cutie marks for main characters... Altermind could perhaps have a brain, and Sightline a pair of eyes? Obvious kobold is obvious.

He's on a week-long hiatus right now. I've been amusing myself with the thought of him coming back and finding a bunch of major posters strutting around with pony profile pics.

To be fair, we fished more or less sustainably for thousands and thousands of years. It was our sudden technological revolution in the past few millennia that got us to where we are now. I see your point though.

As a matter of fact, there's at least one good pony creation tool available for free on the web. Feast your eyes on this. It lets you design color and shape and outfit, and even lets you import your own cutie marks. Does it work? Feast your eyes on my new profile picture and judge for yourself.

Here, I did the same thing with yours I did with mine.

I used a website tool (again). I went to this site, uploaded the pony picture with the background, then selected the "Forums" option on the drop-down list where it says "Networks." Then I just moved the square over the part of the picture I wanted (the face), saved the avatar, and used Microsoft Pain to horizontally rotate it so Lightwards would face my posts.

The one bad thing about this project is that it's helped me reach my upvote quota for the day. In other news, I'm trying out a new profile picture for the day!

How many times are you going to make me post this? It's really very quite awesome. I especially love her cutie mark. "My Little Epic: Calamity is Magic" is in full swing!
