  1. Nice pony! He's an alicorn, but I'm not sure if there's any information I can draw from that. Is he a High Epic?
  2. OH THE HUMANITY * begins sobbing * (Nighty night. )
  3. I'll get right to it then. Is Phoenix in his signature purple costume?
  4. "The Lightwards and Funtimes Show" is simultaneously the most hilarious and the most terrifying sitcom on television. Voidus, shall I go ahead and write up the Aldo-Cricket scene? Then Phoenix can stumble across them?
  5. "What? No, of course Sam and Revolution aren't Warriors." * Revolution stares off into space drooling * "Oh, that? She's just sleepy. Did you get them all sugared up before bedtime? * shakes finger reproachfully *
  6. Hmmm... Aldo had a hypnotism act back when he was a professional magician. I wonder if he'd be able to hypnotize Phoenix into switching between personalities at a pre-arranged signal.
  7. I wouldn't object at all. They'll be in the trashed suburb where the Wackos first met Nighthound. Which of the P's will they be meeting?
  8. ...Maybe Lightwards wasn't paying attention?
  9. Oh yeah... I don't think anybody's bothered to tell Lightwards about those details.
  10. If Phoenix heads back up to the Museum, Lightwards could send him on errands. He wants to find any unaligned Epics still hiding in the Empire and have them either brought under dominion or killed.
  11. I'm laughing way more than I should about Adonalsium being Nasal Odium.
  12. So there's a chance Funtimes might let her servants loose in the city? It seems like they'd have to have some form of supervision, or else most of them would just run away. I can't speak for Nighthound and Lucentia, but Lightwards is too worried about angering Funtimes to directly murder any of her servants. He is hatching plots concerning them, however... Unfortunately I don't yet have any ideas for Mundivore's cutie mark. I would love to see the pony from Remington's backstory, though!
  13. Headshot killed them during the museum heist, but if I'm not mistaken they were raised back up when Lightwards went through the museum reanimating dinosaurs. It's also more dramatic for Alice if we assume she still has family under Lightwards' grip.
  14. Alice Regway is a young female Warrior, in her mid to late twenties. Lightwards killed her for extra soldiers during his fight with Nighthound. Alice was temporarily loaned to Nathan and Funtimes during the battle. In the midst of the fighting, Nathan instructed her to do more thinking, which triggered a slow process which is dragging her out from under Lightwards' control. Among Lightwards' still-active Warriors are her husband Simon and her brother Frank. Hope that clears it all up.
  15. Awesome. Here soon I'll see about getting her to Max's part of town and introducing the two. Be warned, TwiLyght will almost certainly ship it. Huh--I hadn't caught on to the connection. I definitely loved that scene, both in The Avengers and your personalized RP version. Definitely a wonderful homage!
  16. Hmm... what would you think of Max meeting Alice Regway? Both of them have vendettas against specific Epics, and Max could be a driving force for shaking Alice out of her shell and inspiring her to go after Lightwards.
  17. Cool icons! I like Max a lot. The tales of ordinary humans caught up in the chaos are very interesting to me. On that note, will Oregon's Reckoners be stepping into the front before long?
  18. Alas, poor Rat with Wings. You will be missed. OK, he probably won't be missed. He was a sleazy little man who's chief claim to fame was being exceptionally rat-like. But I've edited his entry in the "Epics in Oregon" thread to reflect his demise.
  19. There are tragedies in her past--in all likelihood everybody in Portland have tragedies in their backstories. But quite apart from the vaguely gothic persona she's adopted, she's quite good at maintaining a positive outlook on life. If it helps, most of the last 20 pages are entirely jocular in nature and are not what you would call required reading. I can't wait to see your first post! I think I'm waiting on Edgedancer.
  20. It'll be interesting to see regardless of the medium. I've been fleshing out Sam's backstory, and I've been considering finding a way to slip some flashbacks into her narrative. I've done flashbacks once before, but it is unlikely that Quickslide will be shooting Sam any time soon. And as for the party, I'm sure Remington could find redeemable qualities in it. Provided he's given a large caliber rifle and permission to do whatever he likes with it.
  21. Cool! On that note, how will Remington's backstory be revealed in the RP--via a flashback, or just through various comments that slowly illuminate what happened? Also, I got bored so I did this instead of anything productive. Those naturally awesome dinosaurs were drawn by Carolzilla on Deviantart.
  22. I will refrain from posting any more parodies of it then. Huh. I actually thought the Unicyclist had already carried out his mission, since it was mentioned his cycle was outfitted with the heavy-duty tire and all.
  23. Yay! I believe it is obvious that in this alternate timestream, Lightwards is Davros and Nighthound is the Master. DW: Into the Dalek:
  24. I can't tell you how much I want a Doctor Who series starring Funtimes now. Imagine--instead of flying through the time vortex or among giant clock components, Funtimes' TARDIS whooshes through clouds of glitter and cotton candy. She doesn't really stop the Daleks so much as she turns all their technology into sugar while calling them meanie trash-bin faces.
  25. I'm not responsible for the background--I saw that the pony comic creator had a TARDIS background though, so I just had to put Funtimes in it at least once. I take full responsibility for Nathan's "why me" face, though.
