No need to apologize, Seonid! I am immensely grateful for this help. If I could convert my gratitude into rocket fuel, I could personally power a small spacecraft to Barnard's Star within a typical human lifespan. That's how grateful I am. I think I've got a pretty good idea of what the days and nights would be like now, thanks to you. Just a couple of small questions... On a moon that was tidally locked to its planet, just how cold would the planetside get? Cold enough to prohibit complex life on that side of the moon, or could meteorological processes circulate enough warm air to the planetside to allow a few plants to grow, perhaps adapted for soaking up sunlight in the early morning? Would it be safe to assume that the planet and other nearby moons would have massive effects on Rimenight's tides? I know pretty little about tides, but I want to know whether I can assume that the tides would be more severe and would operate on a more erratic schedule.

Awesome. Anything that improves the chances of abundant pughugs is awesome. General question: would a pug eat a sheet of paper? It'd be woefully ironic if the infamous "dog ate my homework" excuse were invoked if Protector Pug consumed the paper with Altermind's weakness on it.

Like I said, I'm absolutely not blaming or accusing anybody. Dark isn't bad, and in fact I'm liking the posts enough to upvote each one as it comes. They're awesome posts, and you, mail-mi, and Twi ought to be proud of yourselves for having the skill to write them. (Though just to let you guys know, if Timeport and Electro did capture Revolution, I'd scrap all my current plans and activate instant Sunburst mode. I'd be worth it all just for a description of Electro's final pre-vaporization face. ) Now, moving on to the important questions: how heavy is Protector Pug? I need to know all the details, so I can produce a proper pug-hugging scene with maximum realism.

Glad it's not just me, then. I mean... can you imagine if instead of nameless NPCs, those girls were Sam and Revolution, or maybe Autumn? One of those girls is Sam's exact age, for Calamity's sake. These are, in my opinion, the darkest posts in the RP yet. And being a cheery little ray of sunshine that photosynthesizes cute stories from the Internet, I hope they will REMAIN the darkest posts in the RP. That's all. They're very well-written posts though, so don't think for an instant I'm criticizing or complaining. Kobold King, signing off for the night.

I feel like a slontze for saying it, but... the girls die in the next one, right? I don't know how much more abuse and humiliation can be heaped on them before forum regulations are violated. I'm suddenly really glad that I made Lightwards uninterested in the opposite sex. Yeah... maybe we should do more time skips.

That's pretty much what I thought. (I'll have to step up my game if I want more Epics on the list. ) So... your two Epics on the list are Quota and Koschei, though Koschei at least has already died. Edgedancer has Nighthound, Lucentia, and most of the Astoria Epics. Joe has CorpseMaker and Blackwave. Voidus has Penumbra and Neverthere. Lightsworn has the Panda. Fatebreaker has Quicksilver. Mailliw has Electro. ...Am I forgetting any major slontzes?

The best part about consulting on PMs is that we get to view all the awesome posts before everybody else. I'm probably exaggerating. It's really just one with you, one or two with Twi, one with Voidus, one with Edgedancer, and the communal PMs like "What Happened in Firefight." Whoops. Hopefully Nighthound wasn't listening.

What do you mean "the second time around"? Do you mean to tell me that you're engaging in covert, conspiratorial conversations with fellow players? ...Because I'm in like, nine of them at this point. We can all agree that Protector Pug is the single most adorable creature in the RP so far, though. I'm pretty sure that if Nighthound threatened one of Chimera's dogs, then laser vision mode would activate.

I've never seen a pug in person, but everything I hear just makes me want to hug one more. (If Sam held out her hand to her, would she sniff and lick at her hand like other dogs would?) I'm sure there are a great number of Epics with physical intimacy weaknesses, and Funtimes is the bane of them all.

Sam needs a hug. Pugs like hugs. We made a good decision with Protector Pug. Though I wonder if anyone will read that comment of yours and come to the conclusion that Lightwards' weakness is hugs.

Summary of what Sam's thoughts may be upon seeing Protector: Augh! Something touched my leg! What's a pug doing here? Oh sparks. Has Lightwards filled the neighborhood with zombie pugs? OH MY GOSH IT JUST TILTED ITS HEAD THIS THING IS ADORABLE! It's a work in progress, but I think that gives me a solid outline to work from.

Usually trophies aren't filled with ham, but for you, Protector Pug, the judges will make an exception. I'm still considering writing a Wes flashback post at some point. If only so I can claim the honor of "Most Distant Flashback," and so I can start a post with "One Hundred and Thirty-Seven Million Years Before Calamity."
