  1. I mean, they apparently have the facilities to sustain a live dragon, and a big one at that. I'm sure they could keep a boy alive, and a few stiff and untalkative goblin supervisors would probably give the kid less emotional turmoil over the first eleven years of his life than the Dursleys.
  2. The thing about Calamity is that while it was a brilliant novel, it very much twisted the Reckonerverse into the shape it needed to be for that novel. The setting itself is secondary to the story that Brandon Sanderson wants to tell, which is all well and good for him, but it turned a setting that was ideal for our roleplay into a setting that was primarily only suited for his trilogy of novels. Our fanon, as is to be expected, did an arguably better job of leaving the world open to interesting character constructs from a variety of different people as opposed to a world created for a single author. What we're experiencing here is a simple contrast of needs between us and Brandon Sanderson, and I'm sure he'd take in stride that we chose to tweak the setting to allow us more creative freedom in our fanfiction.
  3. The study of biology requires technology; life itself goes on quite neatly without it. But for your question, I believe most human Diaemites are at either a tribal a primitive medieval level.
  4. (You think that's bad? Consider for a moment that HP!Lucentia implies an HP!Nighthound. ) You're known for schizophrenic Epics with split personalities that all have names beginning with "P." In certain areas on the Shard, at least.
  5. Hot dogs. I'm not really sure why.
  6. I'll get something up tomorrow Lord willing, then. Allons-y, as I say.
  7. The Unicyclist is currently burning down house after house, and will likely do so quite often in the future. Just saying, fire and Megan have really never gotten along.
  8. Not sure on a cutie mark. Something to do with sugar, maybe? * hands out a random upvote *
  9. The other day I went down by three, then soared up by almost a dozen after an afternoon spent at church. I wasn't able to make sense of any but one of the downvotes, which was directed at one of my RP posts and I suspect was an accident. That, or lurkers are a highly varied, very weird, but ultimately more positive than negative bunch.
  10. I'd offer to animate it but I think the best I could do is ponify it. Actually, a Melody pony would be really cute...
  11. Dang. I just felt an emotion. You know what that means. Now you have to too.
  12. He can play David's dad.
  13. I'll wait. It'd pretty much boil down to * screams internally * anyway.
  14. Is Mrs. Voidus up next at the Museum?
  15. Well I guess we could get you a ribbon. But I thought everyone knew my name was Mr. Fish by now.
  16. That character shares my name, by the way. Really did weird things to my head reading that webcomic.
  17. Your forum name, like recapturing escaped Azkaban inmates, is sirius business.
  18. TwiLyght, I think you should see this. "The Setup Wizard." A little language so far, and I've only read the first few posts, but it's great so far.
  19. Don't worry guys, I'll handle this. * opens a can of salmon *
  20. The stories on this thread: Wanting to tell a story but not having anything really interesting to say:
  21. I have dozens of close friend relationships! They're mostly with cats and small feathery poultry, but they still count!
  22. "My point? Prodigy airplane pilot, Drakey."
  23. Unfortunately Jade Delancey can't appear, as the rest of the story would simply become about her and Melody becoming best buddies and talking Draco into taking a road trip to Disneyland.
  24. I be grokking your jive, me hearty.
  25. Singing dragons. I can get behind that.
