  1. Cultural diversity: coming to an RP near you.
  2. I can help arrange the scenario if you like.
  3. What would it take to get her into a pink, glittery kimono?
  4. None from me. Though it could use a little more screaming from our dear Roosevelt.
  5. Wow. Score one for vocaloid songs. The joke's on you. Under his jacket he's got a T-shirt with his winged pistols logo.
  6. Well, he got kicked out of his biker gang for seducing the leader's daughter, but as far as I've planned so far the union didn't result in a witch or wizard being created. ...Unless one of Oregon's Epics is secretly his love child.
  7. ...Is that guy wielding magic and a sword against a giant robot? Oh, storms yes. I didn't even know this book existed, and now it's one of my most eagerly anticipated Sanderson works.
  8. Uh, Edgedancer... I have some bad news. You see, Deathwish... isn't a vampire. I can't listen to music until I can find my headphones, but the title seems pretty accurate.
  9. I AM KOBOLD, DESTROYER OF WORLDVIEWS! TELL ME YOUR INNERMOST THOUGHTS, AND I WILL BRING THEM CRASHING BACK DOWN TO COLD REALITY. NO DREAM OR MENTAL IMAGE SHALL REMAIN UNSCATHED... ... * cough * Uh, sorry.
  10. Backtrack I actually envisioned as tall and lanky. Lightwards is actually the rounder of the two, though not by much. Twi pretty much nailed his description. Those are all pretty much accurate. Sorry Voidus, but she pegged Numnums' descriptions pretty well. For Sam at least I'd add that she has a somewhat round face, and her hair's pretty short (it doesn't quite reach her shoulders.) I just realized how similar my mental pictures for Koschei's and Draco Malfoy's smiles are.
  11. I guess I get it from her pony, then. Out of curiosity, how do you guys see some of my characters? It occurs to me that I have vivid mental pictures for them that I've never described in detail...
  12. Probably. I still picture Funtimes with straight hair, despite how many times I've been contradicted on that front. I also picture her as short and very stocky--not exactly plump, but not thin and leaning towards a heavier build. I don't know how canon that it is, but I guess my brain filled in the most logical result of the sugar she eats.
  13. TLR: Hitler with superpowers. Me neither. I tend to add my own details as I read. The thing is, I don't imagine Panacea as mixed race. I see her as entirely black and Baxter as pale white. My subconscious brain has no idea how genetics works.
  14. If your drama teacher is clever, you'll be getting the part of the cackling villain in the next play.
  15. I confess I don't remember. Did we decide on which tribe is the closest to the chiskreven? I've got the first slice-of-life chiskreven scene outlined, and I'll sit down and write it either today or in the next couple of days.
  16. Well, I was imagining Baxter as white, for one thing. Let's see... I picture Voidgaze as white, obviously. Pure, pale white, from skin to her hair to her clothing. I picture Nighthound as tall, very tan, with a long black ponytail that goes down to his lower back, and a sharp pointed nose. Lucentia's similarly tan, with straight black hair and a stare that says "I don't know who you are, but I don't like you." In The Dalles... I picture Baxter as white, slightly plump, with straight brown hair. Clearly I'm way off on that. Shiny Sparkle I picture as a very tall redhead of medium build. Basically that aunt that everyone has in their family--you know, the one who drops periodic references to all her previous husbands while hogging the casserole at get-togethers? Maybe it's just me. My mother says she's never developed vivid mental pictures of characters as she read about them like I do. I'm still not sure if it's a blessing or a curse for me.
  17. Quota I can picture only as a grey unicorn with a red arrow as his cutie mark. (Maybe if he had a real name I could visualize his face better... hint hint. ) Jo, Sazed's Vietnamese. I... didn't really realize I'd been imagining the Terrismen as various Asian ethnicities until now.
  18. Nathan was brunette too, if memory serves. I just want to make sure we all have the same mental pictures. I read most of Warbreaker assuming the God King was a black man. To this day I'm unsure what part of the text could have possibly given me that impression.
  19. Her bio in the Epics of Oregon thread mentions "honey-colored curls." Does she dye her hair?
  20. Hold on a minute. Is Panacea a black woman? I've been imagining her with dark skin all this time, and I just realized I have no justification for my mental image at all.
  21. Most of my cats would strip the flesh off of your arms if you tried to dress them. A lot of them were strays, and they've all got a slightly feral bend to their behavior. And I love them for it.
  22. A group of cats is called a glaring, which makes sense if you've ever shined a flashlight over a field of cats staring back at you.
  23. Somehow you even incorporated her trademarked shirt that shows her midriff but not belly button. Definitely going straight to the Pony Vault.
  24. I'll give you the motivation if you supply the practice.
  25. Drowning, suffocation, electrocution, poison, or any other way of harming him without spilling his blood are feasible. Though Mistwraith hasn't been in town long enough to learn this.
