We could make it a dungeon-delving sort of thing. Diving into the ancient ruins, all characters for themselves as they look for the legendary Heart of Steel or some other MacGuffin.

You know... I don't know how fitting that is with Mestiv's concept for the character, but I'm kind of liking the idea of a goofy, cartoonish Epic who's secretly deranged and sadistic but has to pretend to be harmless and lovable to avoid his weakness being set off.

If it works on a large scale that power would be immune to his weakness, just like sunlight didn't punch through Nightwielder's shield. Loved the WHOOC, by the way.

I'd say Nightwielder has a pretty simple weakness, but he has the benefit of having a power that neutralizes it... * LE GASP * What if Matthew had some sort of power that also protects him from his weakness, like Nightwielder? Like an ability to "numb" people around him, making it impossible for them to feel strong emotions about him?

Personally I love how easy it is to trigger his weakness, since that's something we really haven't seen in the RP so far. Having him resisting his corruption is a little far-fetched, but I love the idea of having him trying his best to be an evil overlord without anyone overtly hating him.

Awesome character! He's pretty unique in that he'd technically be one of the most overpowered characters in the game, but with a weakness that renders him pretty much useless in most situations. For your questions: Probably, but you'll have to talk to Comatose for details; Yes! Very definitely. As a native English speaker I understood you with no difficulties. Hmm... since his powers rely on him being a stranger to others, how about Stranger or Outsider?

I like the idea of that. For it to stay unique from the other cases where this has been done, though, you'd need an extra twist or gimmick upon the first twist or gimmick. Or maybe just open up an entire mental asylum where the inmates have all broken free and think they've started their own Epic dictatorship.

Purple Phoenix started off that way but was later retconned into a full Epic. Mirrorveil has an emotional disorder which she believes is actually an Epic power. Metronome, despite being the most powerful person in Oregon, might actually be a vanilla with a savant skill.

I don't think you understand just how lovable of a person you are. I predict that if you just chat with people and try to get to know them, you'll be up to your ears in friends before you know it. Maybe that's not helpful, but we all love you to bits around here, and as long as you don't look like Jared Leto's Joker I can't imagine you being unlikable at all in real life. -
I'm still waiting for the day when you throw sanity to the winds and start wearing a glittery prom dress as a permanent Funtimes cosplay. Um. Pinterest?
