You are awesome. Just awesome. I haven't done anything saintly to boast of today. Though in the spirit of this thread: while I had a meh day overall, I just noticed that my favorite fanfic author just published a new story about my favorite character. So I've got that going for me, which is nice. -

School spirit is the same in essence as tribal savages shaking their spears and shouting the name of their tribe at the top of their lungs. I mean, both tribes and schools even have totem/mascot animals, for Pete's sake. -

Fair point. Though since as far as we know he never wanted to find out anything about the powerful Epics from the universes Firefight scried into, I still think he operated on the assumption that the shadows were harmless and wouldn't have worried about them unless given a good reason too.

Eh, maybe. Steelheart doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would care overly much as long as they weren't a threat. He didn't seem to care about other Epics beyond his territory, nor did he endorse any scientific research or exploration by his city's people. I don't think he'd have cared about aliens so long as they stayed in their universe and didn't bother him.

Cool. Will Frostfire and Emma be hanging out at all on this next game day? We were discussing having Deathwish torment Frostfire for a while, and Edgerunner's presence could only exasperate the chaos.

It's not as humid as it could be. (For which I quite literally say, thank God.) There were hotter days earlier this summer right after rainstorms, where to step outside was to be instantly scalded like a lobster plunged into boiling water. Still though.

Oh, and about your earlier question: I'm going to say that the more clever dinosaurs have some vague brain activity during REM sleep, mostly disjointed rehashing of old hunting memories, but the human Warriors are too rigidly under Lightwards' control to have anything resembling sleep. ...What are you planning that involves the dreams of dinosaurs, Fatebreaker?

No problem. I wish the site would give alerts to post edits though, just to make double posting less tempting. I could see it either adding heat as a result of Funtimes using her own Epic energy to power the motion of the matter, or sapping heat to power her matter manipulation. Or neither, since when it comes to violating thermodynamics Calamity leaves Maxwell's Demon in the entropic dust. Since nothing of the kind has been noted with Nathan, or with anyone else who's been in contact with things Funtimes has transformed, I won't bring up heat. Instead I'll focus on how ticklish the whole thing must have been, and the two foot-shaped holes Sam is now standing in.

Who pulls his sleigh, I wonder? Sounds good to me. I'll try to get something up soon. Random thought: would the fabric feel warmer or cooler to the touch against Sam's skin? Does Funtimes' power draw or add heat to the matter she transforms?

Santa Pug wouldn't even start to think about hurting someone for not liking a gift. Revolution would be far more laid back and relaxed about the whole situation, so I'd say skip it. Should I do one more Sam post where she gets her dress and then calls Revolution into the room after Funtimes' question? And then we skip to their arrival to the Museum?

I don't have a pug for this part. It just made me laugh. If you can't tell by the pugs, I liked it. I'm open to whatever you want. If you want to skip to the Museum with Sam and Revolution both in their new attire, that's fine with me.
