Maybe if a thing turned clockwise, and you wanted to make it so that it didn’t accidentally turn the screw

Idk

My idea is that a couple billion years from now, everything will be about durability, not technology, since everything has been discovered and perfected. Of course, inventions are still being made, but technology is long in its final stage.

"But... what's the point of it? Disassembling robots?"

“I’m not sure. Maybe they were trying to prove a point? Or perhaps it’s a warning of some kind.”

"A warning of what, actual deaths?"

“Maybe. Or maybe something happening to the spaceship. We should look around for more clues.”

"Strange."

Azgard walks around, investigating. He had had... insider knowledge of something going on with the ship, but this didn't match up with any of what he knew. He looked closely for any indications on his secret teammates.

"Maybe we should report this to someone more qualified?"

I was-a workin' on it! But I forgot 'cause I had me some  a n i m e  to watch!

Schevin tapped his wristbank a couple times, then took a quick scan of the "wreckage." He saved it to quick access, then nodded. "Alright, well... hold up. Wasn't there a third robot that went missing?"

"There was yes." E-IS-315k replied.

"I recommend caution, this seems to have been intentional sabatage, and the culprit may still be near."

Schevin swallowed. "Let's... go... check it out?"

Arkin unzipped au bag and brought out a small pistol, clicking off the safety and wrapping au eik around the trigger. “Just in case.” The three (four?) of them started walking towards where the noise had come from.

Azgard, too, brought out his gun and started walking towards where the noise had come from.

“Copyekio.*” Arkin flicked au tongue** at Azgard.

*Ekio are small, tentacled animals native to Iel that are often kept as pets. Iel have a habit of turning other species’ sayings and idioms into their own.

**Flicking your tongue is a sign that an Ieli is jesting.

"More than you'd think," Azgard said ominously, possibly vaguely hinting at something mysterious. He raised the gun up high.

“Aw, come on, Az,” Arkin said, flicking au tongue again. “We both know you are the last bagel. I’m usually the one who does that!”
