Zinc and Brass Mixed Up?

So, I was too lazy to go back and look for it myself, but I seem to remember from The Final Empire that zinc soothed and brass rioted. Now, zinc riots, and brass soothes. Did Brandon mix them up, or am I remembering incorrectly?

It's always been Brass Soothing and Zinc Rioting. There might have been a line in the first book that could have caused the confusion like when Kelsier says that Pushing metals are the pure elements and Pulling are the alloys which is the opposite of the metals do

The Allomantic Metalhead said in the Hero of Ages typos thread, "In one chapter, it says that Elend burned zinc to soothe some emotions." This may be where the confusion came from.
