Hello World! (or should I say Hello Cosmere!)

Greetings everyone!

I am so excited to join this community! 

I had been thinking about joining for sometime now but couldn't do it because there is so much of Sanderson universe I still have not explored. However, recently I decided to join anyway because I would be missing out a lot more by not joining. I hope to avoid spoilers from the series I haven't read yet.

I got into Sanderson novels not too long ago. I have covered first 3 Mistborn books, Warbreaker and Elantris and am considering getting my hands on Stromlight Archive soon. Not sure if it is too soon to start that. Please let me know if that's a good idea and if not please recommend what should be my next Sanderson book?

I would totally say start Stormlight as it is my favorite series, but if you're a person who doesn’t like to wait for books you should probably hold off until at least book 5 is released so you can read one arc in its entirety. I would also recommend any of the noncosmere books like Skyward or Reckoners. They are always worth a read as well. (Also Mistborn era 2,)

I would highly recommend reading the Stormlight Archive or Reckoners.

Pick either Mistborn era 2 or Stormlight, it's your own choice! But be warned, spoilers abound. So I'd suggest wrapping up Mistborn era 2 and Mistborn: Secret History as those books are far shorter than Stormlight and have big spoilers we still like to talk about a lot.

Welcome to the shard! You can either start mistborn era 2 or Stormlight Archive. 
Although I guarantee that with SA, you are in for a great and awesome journey! 
 

I like all of cosmere, but SA is my favourite series ever. 
But be very careful on the shard, you can get very spoiled. Don’t check the fan art also, don’t even google anything about the series. Just read it!!

Thank you so much everyone for such welcoming messages and for your suggestions. I think I am getting very impatient with the Stormlight Archive. I don't think I'll be able to wait much longer to start that. Almost every single BS fan/reader that I know has told me that it is their favorite series. So, can't wait.

Favorite characters: Sazed and Lightsong. I know, one is way too serious and the other very very funny and refreshing. I have bookmarked so many things that they have said.. I always find it interesting to go back and re-read their part from the novels.

I guess I can't ask for your favorites yet cause there's a lot I still need to catch up on. But you're welcome to share (without spoilers )
