Hello all my fellow Sanderson fans! My name is Brendon H and I am a Chef, Creative Writing major, and aspiring author. I love everything I've read by Sanderson he's an inspiring genius and storyteller. The Stormlight Archive speaks to me not just on a creative interest level but on a spiritual level too. I relate to the mental and emotional struggles of several of the characters in this series and am not ashamed to admit that I have cried while reading their struggles. It is my current aspiration to be able to write the official stormlight cookbook!

Welcome to the Shard Brandon! That is an awesome dynamic trio of interest right there that is so cool  And man, loving everything Sanderson is the trait to have around here I think you were made for us! How did you first find SA?

That is wonderful you've been finding such a deep connection with the novels. Honestly what makes the so special is not just that they are epic stories but that they are stories that serve as a means of tackling real life issues. You can explore a critical journey of someone you connect to and learn from it all the while!

Crying while Stormreading (totally didn't make that word up) is totally normal, just make sure to aim the tears away from the books the best you can  Combining your interest with your cooking skills sounds awesome that is such a cool project idea! Keep us updated for sure!

Thank you guys for the welcoming! I will definitely keep you updated on recipes! If I were to give a Disney character one of the 16 shards I think that I would give Scar Odium. I think Scar is like Taravangion a clever thoughtful individual who is ruled by their passions and emotions making him a good fit for Odium. This was kind of a fun Question I might try to assign all 16 shards a Disney character! What about you? Who would you choose and which shard?
