Raysium is now confirmed to exist, and we know that it can steal stormlight. We have also seen the mechanism reversed, and the captured stormlight (or voidlight) was pushed along the blade into whatever was stabbed. Raboniel told us that the transfer of Stormlight works best if you stab the holder of the Investiture. I think this sounds an awful lot like Hemalurgy. If anything, this may be a more effective way of hemalurgy. What if you stabbed an allomancer with it and stole their powers. You go over to your friend, reverse the effects, and stab them. The power flows into them, and then the knife can be removed.

Herald (paraphrased)

What about Hemalurgy in other worlds other than Mistborn?

Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased)

Yes.

Herald (paraphrased)

I again asked with the exception of kandra, have seen Hemalurgy such as people who may have been spiked.

Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased)

He repeated "You have seen Hemalurgy in other worlds."

Similar mechanics but not hemalurgy,as Branon said

Have we seen any evidence of Hemalurgy on Roshar? And, as sort of an addendum, given the end of Oathbringer, was what happened to Jezrien Hemalurgy?

Brandon Sanderson

There are certain cosmere philosophers that would count it. I would divide it as two separate things that are using similar fundamentals... I wouldn't call it myself, but there are people who would disagree with me in-world. Have we seen evidence? I would say no evidence that is easily-- easy to pick out.

kalamitous_emoashions

But it's there?

Brandon Sanderson

Yes, there are people with Hemalurgy who have been to Roshar. I'm pretty sure they've been on-screen.
