Would it be possible to display posts by the time they were upvoted, and not when they were posted? It would just make things much easier to find out where all this extra rep has come from while you were taking a break.

That would be nice. Sadly the current implementation doesn't do that and there isn't an add-on that I've found which does. Maybe someday.
