Craghack Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone I just wanted to say thanks for all the content this community produces. I’ve enjoyed the recent shardcasts - they gave my mind more time to hang out in the cosmere. Also, without this community I would have had no idea who “Azure” really is. And I would be in the dark about the myriad of other things that add another layer to Sanderson’s books. Thanks! I’m not sure I have a favourite cosmere book, but my favourite Cosmere moment is when Kaladin says: Quote Honor is dead. But I'll see what I can do. Edited December 2, 2020 by Craghack 2
Honorless he/him Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 That is is a great moment, there are so many great moments in these books. Welcome to the Shard! So, have you read all the Cosmere books?
Craghack Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 I’ve read all the published Cosmere books except the White Sand series and Sixth of the Dusk

Wait, so you read the Cosmere shorts separately (haha, I did the same thing) The Arcanum Unbounded has all the Cosmere shorts collected (except Dawnshard) plus info on the star systems. You have read all the other shorts? Just to double-check: Emperor's Soul, Hope of Elantris, Mistborn: Secret History, Allomancer Jak and the Pits of Eltania, Edgedancer, Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell, Sixth of the Dusk. You can get White Sand by subscribing to Brandon's newsletter! Just go to his site and you'll get an email with the most recent newsletter, it should have a link for you to download White Sand prose! Craghack Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 Yeah, I already had copies of the Emperor’ Soul (which I love) and Secret History when the Arcanum came out. Plus, I was under the impression that, apart from Edgedancer, the others were very, very short. I guess I didn’t feel like it would scratch my itch for epic fantasy. I thought I had caught up with everything but thanks to your comment I know realise I have passed over Allomancer Jak and Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell. Which means I get to read more Sanderson I guess! Thanks!

My sister lent me the Mistborn trilogy and I somehow managed to start by reading the second book (The Well of Ascension) first... So I guess i wish i had started with The Final Empire.

I think managing to start there just makes you extra skilled in my book Yes that does sound like a bit smoother of an entry Oh also a small detail because corrections make you feel SO much more welcomed!
