"Well, how would I know? I'm perfectly willing to hang out with Jak, he's practically the only one to make an overture of friendship so far."

"Ok, but when he betrays you, remember I told you this. Oh; don't give him any second chances, he got about a hundred with me, he betrayed me every time. It's in his nature." He stays there for a second, as you blink you hold them closed for longer then usual. When you open your eyes he's gone.

"Betra - well, he's gone." Coda rolled her eyes and started walking somewhere else. She didn't know where, she was just wandering.

Seventy-one...

Steven gasped, then collapsed to the floor. "Agh. Seventy-one. Is that good?"

@Somebody from Sel

"For now, you'll get extra next time," he says. The owl flies to his shoulder and lands on it, seemingly not as heavy, and the hops to a little cage in the corner.

"Now, we'll teach you how to draw fire, how bout you give us a little demonstration, Steven," he smiles.

"Um... I haven't figured out how to do that yet. At least, not consciously."

"How about, Cleiven show us?" A dark skinned boy walks forward. The teacher pulls out what looks like a flamethrower and blasts Cleiven. The flame disappears.

"So... lemme get this straight. You're going to blast me with a flamethrower... and I'm supposed to not die?"

He stares at you and says unblinkingly, "You? You're supposed to die, everyone else? No."

A mouse bites you on the ankle. The teacher answers for the mouse, "Raskull says your a numbskull for asking that."

"I can't say I disagree, but you haven't answered my question."

The teacher raises his eyebrow. The mouse bites you again. And the teachers asks, "What do you think?'

"I thought we established that I was a numbskull. I mean, I certainly hope that you don't want to kill me, but I can't be sure."

He raises the flamethrower. "The answer is... Is die!" He yells the last part and turns on the flamethrower.

No fire thouched him.

"--Legolas. What?"

Your clothes are burned. Suddenly the room gets very hot.

Spoiler

Btw, heat absorbing is natural so you can have a different power on its place.

How's about you leave the effects of the flamethrower to the person who got flamethrowered? You do the action, the other person does the reaction. That's how we roll in the RP subforum.

Okay... what I'm really trying to say is I don't want people affecting my character's attire because things could spiral downhill really fast. Depending on the character, I might not actually mind if you say "I stab Fadran," as I'm generally pretty tolerant of violence. When it comes to SS's, though (Safehand Situations), then I get a little more nitpicky because I get uncomfortable really easily in those kinds of scenes.

Steven blinked. "Is... what?"

The teacher frowns, "You were supposed to die. Stop using your powers.''
