Chaos says that the more cosmere aware fans will enjoy this book as we see more cosmere awareness related Easter eggs and tidbits. Got me thinking which ones I’d be most excited to see so I thought I’d pose the question here as well. So, what do you think would be some cool cosmere references to occur in RoW? Big or small. For me there’s a few particular ones: Odium having a discussion with literally any character and either make a direct or passive reference to one of the other shards he has shattered. Would be cool to see him articulate some of those events in his own words. Zahel/Vasher coming across Nightblood. I know a full blown reunion would be cool so see but for some reason I think it’d be hilarious if it was just a passing thing with one or two of “wink-wink-nudge-nudge” lines and Nightblood just getting straight curved. Though, one of my personal favorite tin foil ideas is Vasher wielding Nightblood again in a highstorm/everstorm to protect someone like Kal or Adolin If we get Kelsier in a interlude I’ll have a stroke. We’re getting to the point where we’ll have seen Nightblood more on Roshar than on Nathlis, page wise. So i don’t know if this should count as a cosmere tidbit but banter between Nightblood and Syl would probably the funniest thing we’ve see so far. Last but not least, Ash and Taln dropping factoids passively throughout literally the whole book. Along the lines of the kind we’ve seen so far, cosmere tidbits that aren’t picked up by the main characters. Edited November 8, 2020 by Kered Error

We have precedent of having POV chapters from Zahel, so I'd find it quite interesting if we got him as an interlude, where he walks past Szeth's cell and can hear Nightblood calling out to him and trying to have a conversation. Would give more little tidbits for us to drool over, while not really requiring someone to have read Warbreaker to get what is occuring there. The only god you need worry about now is me." While not a line that is likely to be said, I would absolutely flip over it. Some of the ones I'm hoping for: - Khriss and Nazh appearing 'on screen' and having some discussion with our main characters, maybe even speaking to Jasnah! - Some interesting stuff from Sleepless, and maybe some more on Siah Aimians... - We've already seen a fight that involves someone using Awakening, what about seeing some Allomancy or AonDor being used... AonDor might be harder to explain away though... - What happens when you try to Lash Zahel? Would he be noticeably harder to infuse with Stormlight, or would the characters power through without realising...

I want to see someone being asked where they came from, only to ask for a star map. Then, after considering for a moment, points to a star and goes “there. That’s where my planet is.”

That’s where my planet is.” I know we've seen Allomancy used in one of Shallan's flashbacks, and possibly by Hoid in some other context, but I would love to see it used in an up-front manner, where we can see the main characters react to it If someone managed to get Hoid to give them a straight answer on that question, we could learn quite a lot. Or he could just laugh, point at a random part of the sky, and make sure to change which part he points at each time they ask for clarification. 18 hours ago, Oltux72 said: Why go for old stuff? Would be very curious to see what Aethers look like in canon Cosmere though...
