Just now, Ookla the Channelknight said:

"Great. The tree should be straight now... how does it look from up there?"

"Looks pretty great! Maybe a little farther to the left, though."

"Great! Let's get anchoring." Fadran pulled another rope, moving some really big screws to hold the tree in place.

"Nice pulley system you've got set up, really impressive!"

"Only took me a week to design!"

"That's even more impressive! Where did you even get the materials?"

"Rope? Anywhere and everywhere. Always have rope on you. That's Fadran's Life Lessons number one."

"Well, that and the giant screws."

"Eh. You don't need giant screws on you at all times. They're really unwieldy, anyways."

"No, I was wondering where you got them, silly!" Aria started spinning herself.

"Oh." Fadran chuckled. "I may or may not have 'borrowed' a few from a land inhabited by giants, some really tall bean plants, and a strange abundance of boys named 'Jack.'"

"Well, ours is surely much better. Can I put the stars on?"

"Sure." Fadran grabbed his own star--one made of solid something and covered in the signatures of everyone in the Fellowship--and dropped it into a pulley-powered elevator, winching it up to where Aria could grab it.

Aria grabbed it in her other hand and placed them both on the top of the tree, putting hers a little lower. Obviously the Fellowship one should go higher. "There!"
