Valigus Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I’m rereading words of radiance and I’m noticed that after sadeas says adolin is growing to be as big a threat as the blackthorn has been in his prime and adolin wins the duel that he doesn’t have a title. Adolin is hands down top 4 fighters in the series rn and all the other main people of comparable skill have awesome titles. szeth is the assassin in white truth less of shinovar which is a great title dalinar is the blackthorn which is also great Kaladin stormblessed is the greatest last name in all of fantasy and just such an awesome title adolin is just adolin Kholin which while an awesome sounding name isn’t the same , he really needs an awesome title or moniker. 1
AonEne he/him Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 He's meant to be the slightly more ordinary guy among incredible people though, that's part of his character I like that he's just Adolin Kholin. Not everyone needs an epic title to be epic, just imo. 4

Though I'd say that before all the craziness of the Everstorm hitting, he hadn't done anything nearly so crazy as burning a city to the ground and conquering most of a country.
