Now wax does normally operate on less weight, continually storing but last time he used all his stores, he mentioned that he would have to go with almost no weight to get any weight to use by the time he will next face the bad guys. In the scene i reference, he taps his weight literally in the process of fleeing after he just had his metals burned away. Also the nullifying effect had ended by the time wax taps his metal minds because the coinshot enemy was using his abilities by then. So i think that supports the connection i was making.
