It’s easier to add rules like that at the very beginning though with 3 rules, although honestly I think either is viable.

If you want to amend anything, you’d have to first vote for the official rules and then propose those amendments on your turn, and then we’ll all have to vote on your amendments. Making amendments to the rules before those rules are in effect would basically just be making an entirely different (but similar) ruleset.

Turn order as per rule 201. You’d have to first officially say you vote for the 29 official rules, then propose an amendment on your turn.

Okay then, Majority Rules, the official rules will be the ruleset for this dynasty. 

For my first turn I propose rule 301: (That is how the numbering system works right?)

That rule 202 be amended as such:

One turn consists of two parts in this order: (1) If the player wishes to, they may propose [up to 3] rule-change and have [them] voted on, and (2)...[rest is same]

I also suggest that one of the next players amend gaining points in general as the current system (rest of rule 202) is intentionally boring and meant to be changed.

I think that would have to be a separate amendment for maybe a different rule.

Yeah that’s why I wanted to try the 3 rule system. Hopefully we’ll use it for the next dynasty. (Or maybe people might change their minds?) I think using the 3RS would encourage more players to join as well.

I'm just not the greatest at complicated games, so I'll just watch for a while and I might jump in later, if that's ok.

Yeah, I think it’s fine, essential even, for players to be able to join whenever they want. Not just at the start of dynasties.
