The general consensus seems to be that it'll be related to accepting that either Kaladin can't protect literally everyone, or that he needs to trust other people to protect those who cannot protect themselves, or to accept that not everyone NEEDS to be protected 24/7/365 (though Rosharan calendars are different so it wouldn't literally be 24/7/365 verbatim). 2
