NameIess Posted Monday at 07:29 PM Posted Monday at 07:29 PM (edited) I have two questions. One, why does this thread always die when an even numbered post is next, and two, how does the count get off so often? Take the number of pages minus one, multiply by twenty five, then add the posts on the most recent page. 2527 Edited Monday at 07:29 PM by NameIess Bad math
Ascended Grubberfly He/Him Posted Monday at 07:51 PM Posted Monday at 07:51 PM 2527 or just shoot in the dark. More fun that way.
NameIess Posted Monday at 08:51 PM Posted Monday at 08:51 PM Hey, no just posting numbers. That’ll get us closed down before we reach 99,999. 2533
Ascended Grubberfly He/Him Posted Monday at 09:22 PM Posted Monday at 09:22 PM 2534 whoopsies The more you know I guess

Counting can be helpful but it isn't necessary at least until we get extremely close to the 100,000th post. In fact, counting might actually discourage posting in some cases since it seems to be so very far away before we reach 100,000. If instead we just chat about whether or not dark matter and antimatter exist in the cosmere, we'll surely reach the 100,000th post much faster.
Ascended Grubberfly He/Him Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Fair enough. and I say anti matter exists since anti investiture exists. Yeah yeah correlation =/= causation but since matter = investiture it makes sense.

Unless Brandon decides to solve the antimatter displacement problem, we're all good with that and of course dark matter exists, but brandon wont be talking about it cause he doesn't know how it works either! That, or Brandon is god, omniscient being of our universe

And what do you mean: “if we want to”? 14 minutes ago, CoderDrag0n8 said: and of course dark matter exists, but brandon wont be talking about it cause he doesn't know how it works either! Fair. 14 minutes ago, CoderDrag0n8 said: That, or Brandon is god, omniscient being of our universe Highly doubt. Otherwise, why can’t I use A-Steel?

Otherwise, why can’t I use A-Steel? Theres this whole thing where like, there should be equal amounts of antimatter and real matter in the universe, but no one can find the antimatter. It's like, this whole symmetry problem. But we can make real matter and antimatter by smashing photons together really hard. So does antimatter natrurally occur in our universe? Yes if it counts when we make it, Maybe if it doesn't. And I never said omnipotent, just omniscient. Also, have you ever tried?

Why would that be the case? 2 minutes ago, CoderDrag0n8 said: Also, have you ever tried? … Fair point. *pulls out railroad spike* care to test a theory?
CoderDrag0n8 He/They Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just now, Ascended Grubberfly said: What? Why would that be the case? … Fair point. *pulls out railroad spike* care to test a theory? Well, see, matter can, in fact be created and destroyed. This is because when you smash photons together really really hard, you get no more photons, and one matter and one antimatter. And if you smash matter and antimatter together (or even get them close) they become photons again. At least I think, take this explanation with a grain of salt. So physicists were like, when the matter was created for the big bang, there must have been equal amounts of antimatter and normal matter in the universe (Cause you can't really make new normal matter without antimatter) but when we look around our universe, we don't see antimatter, and we don't really know how we would detect it, so it could be there, we just wouldn't know. And yes, I would love to!

Sweet! *balances Coder on the spike point* wow, the Shard has some REALLY malleable rules…
