hystorm Posted February 25, 2020 Author Posted February 25, 2020 Thank you! I'm a Chicagoland native who's always loved fantasy. Like a lot of fantasy nerds, I grew up in Middle Earth, but I fell in love with Sanderson back in high school with the original Mistborn trilogy. For some reason, I waited years before picking up another one of his books -- it wasn't until I recently found out I had a brain tumor and needed emergency surgery to remove it (it was benign, woo!) that I dove back into the Cosmere. As you'd imagine, I suddenly found myself with lots of time on my hands and unable to leave my house for weeks while recovering, so I decided to finally tackle the Stormlight Archive. I'm currently about 800 pages into WoK, and it's definitely starting to pick up! I figured I'd join the Shard and go on this journey with some fellow fans!
