Given Sanderson's Final Fantasy inspirations, should we be on the look-out for evolved Aviar that people can ride around on---err, chocobos?

Or if Aviar ride humans... are humans the chocobos???

They might be, but they seem to simply be a part of the (magical) fauna since they don't impart any ability to humans. Whatever they have is inherent to them, not granted by the worms

Not really an Aviar example, but I've always seen great potential in Rosharan fauna. Imagine if some kind of Trell equivalent decided to destroy Roshar. He or she could use Hemalurgy to create a hive of controlled Koloss-Chasmfiends. In a way, it would be a twisted response to the Sleepless, just like Trell with his own Faceless Immortals. I would love to see this Zerg/Ender's Game/Staship Troopers scenario in space-age Cosmere

Hmm... Shouldn't this be in the Cosmere Short Stories forum?

Or are you also wondering if birds from other planets can get an ability from Patji?

I swear if we get a Seymour (FFX) style character in the future that just constantly evolves to the point of manic rage then I'll flip.

Has Mraize been confirmed as having an Aviar?

Yup

Is Mraize's Aviar from First of the Sun or is it from another planet?

Brandon Sanderson

If it's called an Aviar, its origin is First of the Sun.

Is Mraize's strange chicken Invested? Like the birds of Sixth of the Dusk?

Brandon Sanderson

It is an Aviar.

*written* What Aviar power does Mraize's green chicken grant?

Brandon Sanderson

*written* RAFO!

*spoken* But it is an Aviar, so it does have one.

So Mraize is a Chocoblood too

EDIT: Imagine a future subplot where an Aviar secret society engages the Sleepless or something.
