So I was rereading the Mistborn Era 2 books and the end section on metallurgic arts aroused my interests. It seemed like the narrator from the arcanum unbounded novel. He describes things in a way like he’s from other parts of the cosmere and that he’s doing research of some sort. I’m assuming this is Hoid, right? I’m not making a theory, just seeking knowledge.

The author of the Essays, and the Ars Arcanum in all of the books, is named Khriss.

She is the woman who asks Wax about his powers at the Ball in BoM, and she's also in WS... But that takes place before she's written any of those things.

Her manservant is named Nazh and he he makes appearances on her behalf in SA as well as several other places(he is fun to spot).  I believe both are now associated with silverlight and the 17th shard.
