When you Soulcast meat, does it end up automatically cooked or do you have to proceed to cook it post-casting? It seems like it would make more sense for the former to avoid spoiling the meat in certain situations, but then how over-cooked must some of the meat be when you cook it with other stuff? Also, is this variable? Could you change it based on the skill/intent of the Soulcasting person? 1

Nor do I recall that occurring for any of the other essences such as grain. They do have spices, so they could preserve the meat that way.
