But all artifacts have a price, and this one was no exception... "The power," whispered Xino with a sense of awe. "Mine..." Not all, in truth. This artifact was new, yet; it contained only the barest fraction of its master's power while away from his side. But it was enough... He smiled, raising it up off the table and pointing it at the wall. ...for that fraction held the power of complete destruction. He pulled the trigger. 1
