Would you like this RP to be done traditionally or with TLT's crazy narrator style?

Ghanderflaffle rose to the challenge and broke away from the circle of ghanderflaffles, moving towards the creature with the urumi curled and ready in her hand.

The monster leaped forward and Ghanderflaffle dove, sliding underneath the beast and turning to look at it, managing to get a couple of lashes with the urumi in before it turned. Ghanderflaffle noted that it wasn't great at turning, probably because its limbs resembled human ones and weren't made for being on all fours. The monster roared and struck out with its nails, which had grown to be more like claws. Ghanderflaffle rolled, but slightly too late and was raked down one leg. She grunted and stood with more difficulty before whistling. The thing looked confused for a moment before Jaci attacked it from behind and Ghanderflaffle struck at it with the urumi. Because of its human-like features and lack of armor the beast went down easily from there.

Ghanderflaffle climbed on Jaci and rode into the center of the ghanderflaffle circle so she could bandage her wound.

I just realized that I was the only person who hadn't made a fight scene yet. I'm part of the club now! :P

The Origin was gone.

Xino spun around, confused. Had it snuck around behind him? But no, he couldn’t spot it anywhere.

That made him nervous. What if it could turn invisible? It could be sneaking up behind him right now. It could be sneaking up in front of him right now. He gripped his sword tighter. It could be anywhere, and he wouldn’t know where it was until it attacked.

Then he noticed a giant scale beneath one of the portals. It had been trampled by the advancing horde, but it was clearly a scale of the creature. Had he frightened it off?

He relaxed slightly, but stayed on guard. There wasn’t any other creature that he could see that even approached his size, but he doubted it would remain that way for long. Especially not if he used his sword on the tide of monsters.

He shrugged mentally. He’d done this for a fight, hadn’t he?

The runes on his sword lit up as he pointed it at the horde. Then he began firing blast after blast of red-orange fire at the enemies. The shots widened out as they hit, burning through row after row of the hideous dark creatures.

He left out the ones in front of the other Narrators. He didn’t want to mess with their fun, after all. They’d brought in the ghandercorns. Strange beasts, what with having the body of a snake, the legs of a horse, and the head of a giraffe. Not to mention the horn sticking out of the front of their heads. But they were interesting. Plenty of possibilities there.

Roadwalker glanced down. He counted seven Sentipede barbs scattered in his leg, still embedded deeply. Why is there no pain? He pushed his thoughts aside and focused his attention on several spiders crawling in his direction. He stared intently, concentrating on their minds. They stopped, frozen in their tracks. Road's scar pulsed and burned for a second. The spiders began to glow with heat, and in the blink of an eye they burned from the inside out and fell in a pile of ash.

Road suddenly felt something crawling on him. One smaller spider had escaped his notice and climbed on him from behind. It chittered and bit the middle of Road's back, tearing his tunic and ripping off little chunks of flesh. Road frantically grabbed at his back, trying to pull it off. The spider scurried into the wound and dug deeper, eating it's way underneath the skin. Horrified, Road tried clawing at the small moving lump, but the spider was quick and moved to his shoulder and down his arm. Road ripped off his sleeve and quickly summoned a dagger. He lightly stabbed his arm directly over where the spider's shape appeared and cut a small incision, wincing as he flicked the little monster out. It fell to the ground, scuttling about. The spider looked up and and screeched as Road's boot came down swiftly and killed it with a loud *squish*.

Remember to clean these later, Road told himself, wiping his slimy boot on the grass.

He ran over and helped a couple Narrators fight off some murderous crows. He noticed Ghanderflaffle riding past on a ghandercorn, her leg bloodied. Hope she's ok, Road worried as he spun his katana and struck down several attacking birds.

Noice! We should draw more things, like the narrators ourselves, monsters, weapons, etc. That'd be cool.

Lunamor sat up, extremely confused. How did he get inside of the giant castle thing? The last thing he remembered was going down after being wounded by the shell thing. He peeled off the blood soaked bandages on his side. He was surprised to see that there was barely a scar. He had known that he healed unusually quickly- paper cuts tended to last only for a few minutes, but he had no idea the extent of his powers. He had just never been injured this badly before. He flexed his previously broken hand. Everything seemed to be in order. Even the pain in his chest was gone. He hesitantly stood up, half afraid he would collapse again. Peering out the window, he saw that the battle was still raging on outside. He wondered how far his powers really reached. Watching several other Narrators summon powerful weapons out of thin air, he wondered if he could do the same. He focused, closing his eyes and imagining his weapon of choice in his head. He thought of every aspect of it, creating as clear a picture as he could. Then he willed it to be there, resting in his hand. He opened his eyes. There, resting in his hand was a gleaming silvery bow, lighter than air. Despite its weight, he somehow knew that it was the most powerful thing he had every owned. On the floor resting near his feet was a bundle of arrows that seemed to be made of light. He notched one onto his bow, smiling. This is going to be fun. He lept out of the window, firing at all monsters within sight and somehow knowing that he wouldn’t hit the ground.

Yep!

Luna’s hair had changed to a shining silver the color of his bow, and his eyes had become a brilliant glowing white the color of his arrows. Both his arrows and himself left glowing white streaks behind them that slowly faded.

Xino sighed, sword flashing. He hadn’t signed up for this, had he? That’s why he’d taken such a colossal form, after all; so that he could face the really big stuff, get some awesome combat scenes in. But except for the monsters he had already faced, there didn’t seem to be much else big coming his way. Only waves and waves of the grunts.

There had to be more, didn’t there? Something stronger, more resistant? All the creatures he had faced so far had proven depressingly susceptible to his fire and his blade. If these creatures were supposed to be a threat, they should be harder to defeat.

He blinked, suddenly coming to a realization. He was the one who was dictating the powers of these creatures. This whole thing was an act, after all. A charade, meant for them to play in for a brief time.

Wasn’t it?

He banished the worry from his mind. Of course it wasn’t real. Nothing could really pose a threat to them, could it? Right? Not unless they let it, and he wouldn’t let it. He wouldn’t.

He was still making it too easy on himself. Next time, he promised himself. Next time, a challenge.

At that moment, a huge monster forced its way out of a rift. It was almost as big as Xino and had lots of armor, along with a sword almost as long as it.

Luna flew over to Ghanderflaffle and Road. “Wanna team up?” he said, lifting his bow.

“How about the big one over there?” he said, pointing his bow in the direction of the huge monster that had crawled out of the ground.

Luna flew after, notching another arrow in his bow. The monster seemed to only have small areas in between its thick plates of armor where his arrows could get in, although they wouldn’t make much of a different. The creature actually seemed to be faintly reminiscent of a chasmfiend. How can I defeat this thing? Luna thought, a bit frustrated. Xino took a swipe at some nearby monsters, his blade coming near the beast, causing it to roar in anger. Beyond the many rows of sharp teeth, each as tall as a human, Luna could see an exposed throat. Ah, that’s how. A shot down its throat could do quite a bit of damage, likely even enough to kill it. “Hey Ghanderflaffle!” he called, “I think I know how to take down this thing.”

Xino sighed again. Godmodding. Oh well. It was they way of life in TLT (and certain related threads). He could deal with it.

He raised his sword and shot a few blasts at the approaching monster. It stood on two legs, with four arms, one wielding a black sword almost as long as the creature itself. It was covered in thick black scales from head to toe. The blasts bounced off the scales, leaving no more than a slight scorch mark barely visible on the dark-colored plating.

It didn’t look like it had done much damage. It certainly didn’t slow it down. It kept coming, slowly but steadily. It raised its sword and pointed it at Xino.

Then it hissed.

The sound sent a shiver down his spine for a brief moment. Then he caught himself. He was a Narrator. He could handle this.

He pulled back his sword, holding it with two hands in a offensive stance. The runes on the side began to glow, outlining the slightly curved sword in an aura of red.

He smiled. Then he charged.
