Definition of synesthesia: here

I've been trying to create a character for a roleplay, and I was wondering; do you guys think it would be possible for someone with this condition to use a color from one of these experiences to fuel Awakening? Brandon has said that they would have interesting interactions with the magic system (if I find the WOB I'll link it), but he didn't specify what they were - so far as I know, at least.

Pretty sure this is what you're looking for.

What would life on Nalthis be like for someone with synesthesia?

Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased)

Synesthesia on Nalthis isn't something I'd considered, but it would probably be about the same. Unless you had a lot of Breath, at which point things would get weird.

As far as "color" goes that's only perceived by the individual... I'm not sure that would work, as what is drained is not just perception, but actually the physical objects.

For example, you can't drain light shining from a colored bulb, but you can drain the bulb.

If you shine a red light on a white wall, could you use the color from that to Awaken?

Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW]

Ooh, good question! I would say you would end up leeching the color out of the lightbulb that you were shining through.

I doubt they could use the colors they see as a fuel for Awakening (since it's not actually there), but what they see would probably be affected by the aura they have. Once you get to higher levels it might be stranger.

EDIT: Calderis has actual WOBs so disregard my post.
