I was on the Coppermind reading about the Heralds and came across the page for the Skybreakers. On the page, it says that the Fifth Ideal of the Skybreakers is to "become the personification of judgement and justice." This was cool because just yesterday I commented on Reddit about how Judgement would be a cool name for the combination of Odium and Honor. This makes me really curious: has a Skybreaker ever, in the whole history of Roshar, sworn the Fifth Ideal? Maybe their Fifth Ideal is to vow to take the Shards and combine Odium and Honor.

Well basically the Fifth Ideal is "becoming the law." One spot I remember them talking about it is when Szeth says something like "But how can you become the law?"

I can't be the only one thinking of Judge Dredd now, can I?

That's where my mind went when I first heard of the Become the Law thing for them, too.

Nale has sworn the 5th, and Ki said "it has been centuries since anyone mastered the 5th Ideal"; I have to think it didnt take Nale 4000-ish years to pull it off, so there'd have to have been others since the Recreance.  Nale is likely the only current one, however.

If they ever get around to doing a live action or animated Stormlight series, is it bad that I want to see Nale acted/voiced by either Stallone or Urban now?

Karl Urban would be perfect for it. Recreate Dredd (good movie, for the record) but time, he's magic.

And when he reveals his two blades, he will tell Szeth that they are named 'Des' and 'Troy.'
