This is about wheel of time, but considering brandon finished the series, i think it is appropriate.

Hey, so i have been reading the wheel of time and i really enjoy it. I really want to get to the end, but the parts with elayne and ninaevae are really dragging. I am on fires of heaven right now. I love rand and mat's story, but the girls part just seems slow. Any advice? Does their story get better?

It miht not help that i am reading so many other books. I just picked up skyward the other day. Is wheel of time one of those series i would enjoy after finishing all the others on my to read list?

I'm on the next book, and I'm sorry to say, with Elayne and Nyneave, it just gets worse. Don't worry, the rest is still good.

It's really slow up until like the 8th or 9th book. I feel like Winters Heart is where it started getting good again. Crossroads of Twilight and Knife of Dreams were amazing. The 6th book, Lord of Chaos does have some really cool parts near the end though. Same with Fires of Heaven.

Hello and welcome to the shard!

At first a short piece of advice: try to not write two posts in a row. If you forgot something you can always edit it in.

To WoT: personally I read the first two books, and then the ones Brandon wrote. I didn't manage to read them all.

btw, there is a specific subforum for the wheel of time discussion.

aside from that, i can only support what others say; it will be slow for a while, but it eventually gets better. and in retrospect the slow parts were not that bad

Hi @Thomas88 - welcome to the Shard!

I never finished Wheel of Time, but I would highly recommend you also check out some of his other works.  I recently read Rithmatist and loved it.

P.s. This is the Introduce Yourself section of the forum.  There's a specific Wheel of Time subforum here where you'll probably get a lot more discussion.
