Scar smiled with his feet on his desk. He had pure black skin, and glowing blue eyes.

He hit the button with his fist.

"Release them."

***

Koloss flooded the streets, other things mixed in. Kolossal's and worse. They looted and pillaged, they were here to conquer the alleycity.

***

Scar smiled eerily. "Yes, the Snowmageddon has begun."

***

Yeti roared loudly, Frost leaving his mouth and freezing things around him. He served the Son of Krampus, and he would kill for him.

A teenager with blond hair looked down on these events with a mix of quiet awe and... something silent. He sighed, looking over at the white wolf on the roof next to him. Its eyes were orange, its fur as snowy as the snow it lay in. Its expression was sad. Wereci was surprised that a creature so old as the wolf could still feel sorrow at something so insignificant as a city being raided.

Wereci drew his sword. It was fairly short and simple, yet elegant and shining. Then he put his other hand in his pocket and brought out a glob of blackness. It quickly formed into a long spear, power emanating from the newly-made weapon. The blade was steel suddenly, the haft strong wood. "I am not a god," he said quietly, "but I have friends who are."

The wolf stood up. Its eyes glowed orange and bright. Its jaws opened, and its tongue lolled out, exposing sharp teeth.

"The heart is the source, the eyes provide. There is no world without eyes to see and hearts to feel. To bleed. Such is the way of the world."

~meanwhile, in the mime headquarters~

Did someone just breach the Multiversal barrier? a mime asked in sign language.

Yes, I believe so. Scramble every single mime at every base, vault, and outpost. This could be worse than the time the Avatars bashed a hole in the fourth wall. another, higher ranking mine replied.

Mimes began to pour into the Alleycity. Invsible vehicles of all shapes and sizes crashed out of the alleys. Honorblade wielding Kandra landed in a square. A massive transport carrying Koloss and Mimequisitors appeared on the outskirts of the city. And yet, no sound could be heard.

Posted (edited)

I smiled from behind the barrier. The new laws prevented me from interfering with characters. Mimes on the other hand... I waved my hand, and half the forces glowed red for a second. Then they were all transported into an alley. The mimes killed each other off within minutes. I smiled.

~~~
Shifting Shadows came up behind Wereci and his wolf. "Hello human." Then he transmitted an image in wolftalk to the wolf. Pack-scent, running wolves, love, cubs, a sense of curiosity, the smell of his pack. "I discover how this happen. You help?"
Quote
So, this is going to be a side plot, fairly intricate. Scar is a non-human man, his title among the armies of frost is the Son of Krampus. These Koloss are pure white skinned, with blue eyes, and blackish blue tattoos of icicles coming from their eyes. The Kolossal's are the same, but with a blue snowflake on their shoulders. Among the group there is also a few Kolossal Commander's, which have a blue snowflake on each of the four shoulders and icicles on eyes, but each are much more intricate, and chinese_symbols_for_winter_9417_2_0.png.1b2b73b585a1ecbb9405327740161d29.png
this on their chests.
There is a few Dread's mixed in as well, with the same symbol on their foreheads and pure white hair and eyes that are 100% blue.
There is fifty-seven Strikeshot's mixed in, but with bright blue skin and a snowflake tattoo like a tear by their left eye.
A single Shoggoth, which I will RP.
All them except the Shoggoth are NPCs you can godmod, but if I choose one to RP, you may not godmod it.
For information on creatures mentioned, read this post by @Voidus.
New creatures:
Frostbloods:
Spoiler
https://coppermind.net/wiki/Siah_Aimian
Appearance: They appear like a Siah Aimian, but have arms that function like Kandra's, except always bright blue.
Abilities: Their body is so cold that it freezes humans on contact, and they leave a trail of frost behind them. Their Kandra body parts can harden to the point that they can block a sword, eliminating the need for bones in their arms. One in thirty have Feruchemical Brass, allowing them to become even colder.
Weaknesses: Heat over a hundred degrees kills them, they become weak at over ninety. This doesn't work for the Feruchemical Brass ferrings. There normal body can be killed easily if you hit the heart, though as with Siah Aimians, they can heal fairly well.
Origin: They were an abandoned experiment in the early, early days of the Alleyverse, they lived in the Goldhaven mountains, where they evolved into this form, no longer a spiked creature, they still live there. Normally peaceful, these were kidnapped at a young age and trained by Scar for battle.
Number: Thirty in horde
RP status: Normal NPCs, unless you wish to kill one, which I will take over RPing.
Wyr Serpents:
Spoiler
Appearance: 228px-Ice_Wurm.jpg.21324a4837b749e377114d62440e4125.jpgLooks dragon-size-chart-alduin-colour.thumb.jpg.d43be6dc7b221ae8140f15fedcb45cba.jpgSize, minus wings/legs
Abilities: They can break through anything weaker than steel, and can dent that. Their blood is boiling hot, will kill humans if given extended contact, and their skin drains heat, also able to kill humans if given four minutes. The tips of the fang/claw/mandible things on their heads is highly poisonous, and will kill within a minute. Their biggest weapon is brute strength, which they use strongly. They are the intelligence of a meeker, and have the same ability to communicate.
Weaknesses: Dumb.With enough force killable, though skin is tough, will stand up to steel. No protection against shardblades except the same way a chasmfiend does.
Notes: They follow orders by Guruthos, the Yeti, and the Son of Krampus, and will not attempt to kill other forces, and will actively avoid killing Frostbloods and Kolossal commanders.
Origin: Found in deep underwater caverns on the other side of the world, they draw the small amount of heat in the cold waters into them so they can live. They have gills, but can also breath in air. They will sometimes tunnel into different locations, which is the only time they can be seen. Extremely hostile, they would normally kill on sight, these were trained.
Number: Ten in horde
RP status: Locations up to your decision, but if you decide to even start a battle I will RP.
Guruthos:
Spoiler
Appearance:warrior-in-a-small-boat-fishing-the-giant-dragon-53068-1920x1080.thumb.jpg.e839c67a05e7c9065c0a171b6cabaae1.jpg (All but eyes can turn invisible, eyes are neon blue and glow)
Abilities: All have spren bonds allowing them to grow so large, they also have feruchemic iron, and a huge ball of iron inside them, just for when they come on land. Incredibly strong, can use surge of gravitation, can turn invisible, can shoot ice (example), smart as average human, they have telepathic connection directly to the Son of Krampus, and only follow his orders. Immune to shardblades.
Weaknesses: Can only actively move on land for so long, they have to rest and tap weight to empty it after a while. Eyes are visible even when body isn't, and if given a big enough show of power they will submit and break connection with the Son of Krampus, migrating back to one of the territories they live in. Can be killed, with enough work, if you get into their stomach or manage to break their spren bonds, though the show of power is much easier.
Origin: They evolved on the other side, they have migrated to a few locations, one is a giant underwater alley, one is among the islands, one is the area where the Wyr Serpents live, and one is under the Goldhaven mountains. Normally violent, but humans are too small to attract their notice in the wild, unless given show of power.
Number: Three in horde.
RP status: All RPed by me
 Yeti:
Spoiler
Appearance: 5c2404c3635cd_Screenshot2018-12-26at2_46_09PM.png.b0aad74a618b75773865de861bcbb21b.pngSize, from BFGYeti_-_FB-C.png.4a3fee0b9f2757dc31d85724f222e317.pngLooks
Natural abilities: Feruchemic brass, frost breath (Like Guruthos but miniature). Claws have slow acting poison that causes rashes and swelling at first, within a day will make the flesh melt off of a human's bones, and fur secretes toxin that causes paralyzation.
Spiked abilities: Twice strength to size ratio of average pewterarm, but size makes it much more (8 spikes). F-Steel, Double zinc (doesn't know compounding), A-Chromium (4 spikes).
Weaknesses: A powerful rioter or soother can take control, doesn't have direct connection to Son of Krampus, slightly less intelligent than average human (Lessened by F-Zinc), dislikes pain to the point of running away if it goes to far.
Origin: They live in the Goldhaven Mountains and the colder places on the other side of the world, very rare, they live in tribes, territorial and very much against leaving territories except to strike at others, maybe forty tribes in the world. They don't speak english, but have a language. Savage, will kill humans on sight. This specific one was kidnapped and given spikes to make it leader of the horde.
Wereci flicked back his ears at the scent this Shifting Shadows gave, obviously to the wolf. The wolf understood the meaning, but not as well as Wereci. The wolf didn't spend long as a canine at any given time, while Wereci had been part-wolf his entire life. Wereci and the wolf's sharp noses both picked up on Shifting Shadows's scent. He was human, clearly, but there was something dirty and unwashed about him, this sense of trying to be a wolf but knowing what it was to be one. Humans can't be wolves, Wereci thought, but we can be the brothers of wolves. "Yes, I'll help," Wereci said. "This isn't right. The wolf agrees."
I tap Ark on the shoulder.
"The mimes are not here to stop your army, friend. They are here to stop that."
~~~

A swarm of various dropships began to land nearby the Alleycity and deploy their cargo. Hundreds of soldiers in pure black power armor gathered in ranks on the outskirts of the city. Interspersed among them were small to midsize mechs, spider tanks, and plasma mortar battries. A gigantic robot sailed out of the sky and landed in a kneeling posistion behind the army.

Also, to translate what he said to the wolf only, "Where is your pack? Are they dead? If so, you and your friend may join ours."

"I believe we need to pick off a few roving groups, taking the leaders and making them speak after killing the rest." His golden eyes glinted, and he looked at the other wolf again. Hunting twisting ones, man with horns, bloody fangs, corpse, flash steel-fang strikes down others inshadow-cover. Bloody skulls, big-man screams, death-smell. Then he repeated the earlier message. Pack-scent, running wolves, love, cubs, a sense of curiosity, the smell of his pack. A few howls answered him, and he howled back. Another two of his pack had arrived, and they sent him images of twisted ones from their perches above rooftops.

Quote

This new message was him saying the same message, and saying they will kill the twisted ones (The hemalurgic ones) and give them pain, along with a bit of his plan. His pack doesn't care about the non-hemalurgic ones, as the pack were raised in the Wheel of Time world. They would do anything to kill something twisted from it's original form, which means any hemalurgic creatures. The Frostbloods, Wyr Serpents, and Guruthos they don't care about. There is non-hemalurgic creatures that are their enemy, but if they have a natural form, they aren't against them. He is, though less then normal humans, because he was raised human.

Dwig, why is there an army?

Wereci nodded at Shifting Shadows's message, then answered for the wolf, who wasn't exactly an elegant conversationalist. "His pack are not here, but he will fight the Hemalurgic Abominations. My pack is on another planet, and I too shall fight."

Oh, can you please edit that? Krampus is Ark, how they view him, and the Son is one he gave a vision...

Okay, be warned they'll be wiped out fast because of the Guruthos. Even if they're more powerful then that, I'm fine with it as long as they're beatable, they will be a nice plot bit. If not, tone them down. They can escape if you want to reuse them, but for this plot they need to lose.

Shifting Shadows smiled as a message came in. One group had two Kolossal commanders. They were smaller, but by coincidence they had ended up with two when bigger groups had none. He transmitted to the wolf as he ran, soulcasting a steel bridge to the next roof. Cross chasm-connect, fang in throats, blood on ground, two big-men scream, blackness. And a new message, but a variation of the old. Pack-scent touch pack-scent, mingle, muzzle touch, question, hunting together, curiosity, a hesitant image of two large wolves, one blurry, faced and indistinct, female licking indistinct as pups play.

The first message is saying to come with him so they can attack, then interrogate the leaders, then kill them. The second message is asking if their packs can make an alliance, become partners, and the second is saying, very hesitantly, their packs could become one eventually.

Wereci followed Shifting Shadows, the wolf trotting along behind. The steel bridge made him nervous, but the wolf had told him earlier that Soulcasted materials were fairly safe, so he padded across without missing a beat. Merging packs? Now that's not really an option. Wereci and the wolf lived on another planet entirely the majority of the time. "I'm sorry, Shadows," Wereci said to Shifting Shadows, "but that's not viable. My pack still needs me elsewhere, I am using my free time on this planet. The wolf feels the same way."

Posted

Shifty looked at him then. "One. Why should that obstruct the partnership option? Two. Why the hell can't the wolf answer me himself?"

Posted

"Why are you swearing?" Wereci asked with a grin, then answered his questions. "Our planet is not safe for outsiders. The hormonal stress alone would probably drive anyone from the outside insane within hours. And, uh, the wolf can't speak. It is, after all a wolf." The wolf nipped Wereci lightly on his calf, then nodded its head at Shifting Shadows. "Despite all its inclinations to become other things."

Posted

He puffed out his chest slightly. "My pack could handle it, especially the cubs. Why can't wolves of your planet speak?" Twisted ones move. Hunt with metal-tooth. "Please, let us try it." Then he ran again, to get to the group before it joined a larger. So, wolves of other worlds can't talk? He sent a message to the other wolves of his pack. No-dream fur-tooth-claw. Dream again? They seemed to consider, and Shifty felt something leave them. No other wolves were close enough to him, but some were for them, and they could communicate with others, until it reached the alpha. The alpha would know. Eventually it came. Dream-connect, pack circle, muzzle-slam, submit, can dream. He smiled and yelled behind him, still running. "I can allow your wolf to speak with us."

Posted

"Oh, it would hate that, please do," Wereci chuckled to Shifting Shadows. then turned back to the wolf to see it had suddenly become a black leopard, and was leering at him rather ominously. "Oh, don't you try anything," Wereci chided it, then watched as it became that same white wolf it had been a moment before.

Posted

Shifting Shadows grinned at the wolf. "I do plan on it. I have to wait for the rest of my pack though" He smiled, turning back. He sent the message through the rest. Quick-stride, kill, hunt-scent, ang in neck, twisted ones. Then he turned back to the wolf and the wolf-man. "Come. We fight, and we learn." He made five more bridges, and used lightweaving to render these ones invisible.

Finally Shifty reached the other wolves. He surveyed the situation, hearing a new howl. The three wolves howled back, himself included. A third had arrived. He smiled, looking back at the situation. Twenty Koloss, five Kolossal's, and two Kolossal commanders. Quick-fight, die, fang slash, scream, black, fast-run. He smiled, it transmitted aster this time. One less in the chain, he could communicate directly to the next three. Shifty smiled, looking back at the three wolves, and the wolf-man and the strange-wolf. "Come. We fight now." He jumped, soulcasting something he had learned over five years, to the point it was instinctive. He had enough soulcasting stored up in his nicrosilminds that he needed barely a wiff of stormlight, and with a single sphere's worth he knew he could summon it now. Strong, black titanium blade, that was one of the hard parts, even steel was hard, titanium harder, a light coating of poison on the blade, a hilt made of aluminum, with gold inlays, and one of his spheres inlaid in it. It had a silver heron on the handle, and one in carved in the blade. He smile, easily killing the first Koloss. The wolves streamed onto the courtyard with him.

~~~
Jeff saw the strange human attack. KILL KILL KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILL he rushed forward towards them, pulling out his giant blade, ice blue. All of the white Koloss around him did the same. He was the biggest, a giant. One of the biggest Koloss in existence that still had a skin. Fourteen feet, he was a real monster. His skin had been a bit big when he was made, though none knew why.  His eyes glowed blue, like a blue flame, conveying intensity and chaos as well as red ever did.
~~~

Bojo was huge, bigger even than the Kolossal's, though only by a foot or two. He had four arms, and a shardblade in each. He shouted out commands to the Koloss and Kolossal's. He was almost sane, and stronger then the Kolossal's from pewter, which he burned. The humans would perish, or become of the frost. They would be given no other choice.

Wereci cocked his head at the army of strange, huge, twisted humans, then bowed politely to the wolf. It tried to scowl at him, then tried to roll its eyes, discovering again that neither was easy to do when it was a wolf, then resigned itself to growling at Wereci. Wereci gestured to the army. The wolf turned to it, then focused at the center, closing its eyes for a moment and concentrating.

A huge explosion enveloped the horde, booming and making Wereci press his ears against his skull, even though he'd been expecting it.

"Well, that was easy enough," Wereci said to Shifty, then realized that some of the Koloss were still alive, on the edges of the mass of corpses. The wolf gestured at the remainders with his snout, eyes teasing and mean, so Wereci scowled and ran forward after tapping Shifty lightly on the shoulder. He transferred a vast load of his weight to Shifty, then jumped, launching himself into the air. The world around him seemed to slow down as he sped up his personal time, slowing down Shifty's. He landed on the ground among a group of slowly-moving Kolossal, then made Vengeance bigger and edged down its length, swinging the demonspear at all around him. In what seemed like seconds, the Kolossal were all dead.

Wereci jumped back to the wolf and Shifty, then tapped Shifty again, releasing the bond and bringing Shifty back into normal time and gravity.

Shifty looked down on the Koloss and Kolossal's. At first he was worried. They killed the commanders. He prepared to send out and ask to find another. As he sent it, corpse-field, death-many, need-more, eyes-watch, stalk-hunt. He saw something. The commanders were tapping gold. And healing. The two climbed back up, lumbering towards them. He could beat that easily. He cast a new sword, exactly the same as the last, he had dropped the other and didn't know where it was. He was too lazy to find it when he could summon another with ease. He swept it towards them, an beastly smile playing across his face as he prepared to fight. Before, he sent a message to the pack. Still-live, pain-cause, come, no-stalk-hunt. He looked back at the targets. And then a Wyr Serpent burst out of the ground.

Posted

"Your turn," Wereci told the wolf, and it tried again to scowl at him, then turned to the snake-thing and stared at it. A moment later, it turned into a solid block of iron, in the exact same position. "I could've done it faster," Wereci pointed out, gesturing a finger at the wolf. It irritably tried to snap it off in its jaws, but Wereci tapped the wolf on the nose, transferring his power to the wolf. It suddenly became incredibly slow, and Wereci shook out his shoulders too fast for eyes to track, then released the wolf.

It immediately turned into a scowling man in a loose dress shirt and khakis, shorter than Wereci by a considerable half-foot. "Oh, have you deigned to speak to me?" Wereci asked Zehr.

"I've deigned to $#&*ing killing you," Zehr replied in a tone that sounded distinctly sarcastic, but that wasn't exactly a shock. The man shook out his head, like he was trying to clear some fog in it, his short red, actually red, hair nearly hitting Wereci in the face.

"Great. Oh, please turn back into a wolf. You're so much more tolerable that way." Zehr glared at Wereci with his piercing amber eyes, then was suddenly a wolf again, this time a stark black color with those same orange eyes.

Ark snapped his fingers, smiling. They were breaking rules, and he was allowed to fix that. The Wyr Serpent turned back.

~~~
The serpent whirled towards them, screeching, then blasted towards the man-who-was-a-wolf. He would kill it.
Posted (edited)
The wolf glared at Wereci, again. Wereci vaguely wondered why it was in such a bad mood today, then blinked and was suddenly on a different planet. The hormonal stress would have distressed someone who wasn't native to the place, but to Wereci it was normal. Dusk yawned from his bunk and looked over to Wereci, mumbling something about Wereci not having enough sense to leave other places well enough alone. He had already forgotten what had happened on the Alleyplanet.
***
Zehr blinked into existence a few feet out of the serpent's way, already having turned into a black leopard. He was best at human, wolf, and large cats, and could occasionally manage being a fox for a while. He couldn't, as of yet, turn anyone else into an animal, and was scared to try. He closed his eyes for a bare moment, transferring his mind to imagining a Winged he'd met on the Left Wing standing nearby on the roof, then shifted  the air particles from this place to where the Winged was standing, making the two things switch places. He didn't know why he could do this, but he could.
The Winged and, annoyingly, Wereci appeared on the roof. Zehr spared a moment to scowl at the latter. That boy would get himself killed being reckless like this someday.
Then Zehr used what was called 'Transformation' (in this stupid universe) on the serpent, transforming the stubborn thing into pure hydrogen. He nearly collapsed from the effort; turning all those iron, calcium, carbon, etc etc atoms into hydrogen was taxing. Loads of spare electrons, neutrons, and protons were released into the air and Zehr barely prevented them from exploding into an enormous nuclear Hindenburg.
