Arcoss Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 I had this feeling almost from the start The player(humanity) is building and expanding a base, training more and more starfighter squadrons for self defense and resource gathering. Losing individual pilots and having to constantly train and level up new ones. All while fighting an enemy which consists of an increasingly difficult and expanding roaster of units as the player progresses Did anyone else get a Darkest Dungeon/Xcom vibe out of this? 3
+Invocation Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 I mean yeah, it could make a good video game if done right. I wouldn't trust very many studios to do it right, though. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 Coming soon: Ironsides Simulator, the only base management game in which you sacrifice wave after wave of your own men and read every single one of their individual casualty reports! 6
Mailnaise she/her Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 I feel like if it's done right, a game would be great; I would definitely play it. However, claiming that it would be better than the book is a very bold claim my friend ( @Arcoss )
