Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Remakes Announced!

As there is no thread quite yet, let me post one!

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes have been confirmed, as Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!

We've (or I've) all been waiting for it, and here it is...in November!

For a starting discussion, let's talk about the music. As someone who is just now realizing the sheer volume of trumpets in the soundtrack, I can safely say that I don't think that's a bad thing. The music is very distinct and reminds me of hiking. What do you guys think?

Do people still play Pokemon? I used to love it, but I get the impression the franchise is dying and they just keep trying to reboot it with old game remakes. Or am I just totally clueless?

Pokemon is still very much alive where I live. Tons of people I know play it still, so it might just be your area or my area.

I for one am super excited about this!  Now I just need to get a 3DS...
