Silk she/her Posted January 7, 2012 Author Posted January 7, 2012 I don't think that should be a problem. I did have two new people email me asking to get on the list this week, so if they both want to submit this week's submissions could fill up fairly quickly. So, keep an eye out just in case, I guess.
Aminar Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Is that an invitation? I'll take it if I can. Lastly is there a place I should introduce myself? Should I include any basic info on the submission such as genre? Thanks
Silk she/her Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 Yes, go right ahead and submit this week. On the last forum we had a "Your background" thread where people introduced themselves. I've not gotten around to starting a new one, but feel free to just start one if you (or anyone) get to it before I do. Genre information with the submission always helps, but I don't think anyone's going to complain if you don't include it.
Hubay he/him Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Welp, I got a good buffer of chapters done over break, hopefully I can keep writing now that school's back in session. I've got a chapter for next monday ready, finally.
Skyhunter Commander Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I'll have a chapter ready for next week. Finally managed to get into a constantly writing mindset.
Silk she/her Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Hubay and Skyhunter are up for Monday.
Yados Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Hey, so I'll have the first chapter/prologue of something new this Monday the 23rd.
ACharles78 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I've got some more story for the 23rd, if we aren't already totally booked.
Aminar Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I'd like to submit. And I'd love to see some more submissions coming in. Lets get this going.
Yados Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 (edited) This monday I will either submit the second chapter of The Mortal Coil or a revision of Blood and Tallow; the first story I submitted to this group which I currently doing final revisions on. Edited February 3, 2012 by Yados
Aminar Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Is there a rule saying all of our 5000 words have to be from the same document? I really want some feedback on an 800 word book start; specifically I want to know if I'm explaining some heinously complex magic bits well. Would anybody be upset if I added those to my other submission?
Yados Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 So I'll have something for Monday. Probably a rewrite of B and T.
Yados Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Oh, I posted that Sunday. I sent out the rewrite yesterday...
Silk she/her Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 ... my bad. I was so sure that I checked the date before I posted, too. So, err... carry on. Sorry 'bout that. >>;
Aminar Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 My CPU(literally that part of my laptop) just died. I won't have a computer for a while so I won't be around. See you all when I get my new computer.
Skyhunter Commander Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 ^^Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you won't be out too long. On an unrelated note, I will have another chapter ready for this coming week.
Yados Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 That's sehr lame. At least you didn't lose your whole book. Happened to a friend of mine. Thankfully, I do all my work on Google Docs. I also have something for today.
LongTimeUnderdog Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 I wanna submit monday ... Please please please please!
Hubay he/him Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 I've got one for tomorrow (looks like there's still room). And I promise to start critiquing again soon! It's my last semester and I've been very busy with thesis.
