Email List and Submission Dates

I don't think that should be a problem. I did have two new people email me asking to get on the list this week, so if they both want to submit this week's submissions could fill up fairly quickly. So, keep an eye out just in case, I guess.

Lastly is there a place I should introduce myself? Should I include any basic info on the submission such as genre?

Yes, go right ahead and submit this week.

On the last forum we had a "Your background" thread where people introduced themselves. I've not gotten around to starting a new one, but feel free to just start one if you (or anyone) get to it before I do.

Genre information with the submission always helps, but I don't think anyone's going to complain if you don't include it.

Welp, I got a good buffer of chapters done over break, hopefully I can keep writing now that school's back in session. I've got a chapter for next monday ready, finally.

This monday I will either submit the second chapter of The Mortal Coil or a revision of Blood and Tallow; the first story I submitted to this group which I currently doing final revisions on.

Is there a rule saying all of our 5000 words have to be from the same document? I really want some feedback on an 800 word book start; specifically I want to know if I'm explaining some heinously complex magic bits well. Would anybody be upset if I added those to my other submission?
