batabab
Can you post where that is in the book?
iZarcon
It's the fight between dalinar and eshonai at the end of WoK right before kaladin saves him. I think at the time he thought this, he was dazed from a head shot and was remembering one of his visions. I may be wrong though.
RShara she/her
Do you mean this part? Something disturbed the back ranks of the watching Parshendi soldiers. There was something familiar about this scene, Parshendi all around, Shardbearer in danger. Dalinar had lived it before, but from the other side. I always thought it referred to when Dalinar saved Sadeas.
Observer
Yes, he's surrounded by Parshendi getting beaten to a pulp, and somebody is coming in from the outside to save him. Before it was Sadeas trapped in the middle, and he was the savior. Now he's trapped, and he delusionally thinks Sadeas is coming.
Novus
When Dalinar and Eshonai faught, what did Dalinar mean when he said he had been/seen this before? But from the other side? I dont have the exact quote. I took that to mean that Eshonai was experiencing the Thrill. IIRC, earlier Dalinar is talking about what fighting without it felt like.
