+Invocation
So you can take physical objects into the Cognitive Realm, but is there a size limit on that? I mean talk about the ultimate in FTL if Harmony just shoves all of Scadrial into the Cognitive and hauls it to another planet's Cognitive space. 0 Quantus he/him
Fair point, in the case of Harmony specifically; represents everything that made the planet so should be able to unmake it. Thought it would likely push whatever internal balance he has over the edge, unless maybe shoving it into the Cognitive Realm is "Preserving" Scadrial enough to be a balance to Ruin's side finally getting to wipe the place from actual existence (ie the Physical Realm). I tend to thing that trying to get it back might be much more tricky.
0 Quantus he/him
Matter, Energy, and Investiture are all three sides of a really wonky coin. So I have to think that increasing the amount of matter being transported would proportionally increase the amount of Investiture required to make the transition. I think that tracks with what we've seen of investiture teleportation with the Oathgates, though that's a different kind of thing. Separately, there is some discussion about whether a Planet as a whole in Invested more than just the sum of its parts. Came up in the conversation about whether you could cut a planet in half with a celestial-sized shardblade. I contend that inhabited planets that are inhabited enough to possess a Cognitive Realm region/reflection are going to become more ambiently invested than their physical ingrediants alone, and so be harder to affect. Think of it this way, if you are going to shove the scadrial whole into the another planet's Cognative Space, you are both moving an entire inhabited and heavily Invested Planet into the Cognitive Realm, and also Destroying Scadrial's own, existing Cognitive Realm space. 0 +Invocation
@Quantus But what if Harmony used Scadrial's own ambient Investiture to power the transfer? Regardless of other planets and their statuses on ambient Investiture, Scadrial didn't exist pre-Ruin and Preservation, with everything being made out half of each, so it has to have some Investiture in everything, yeah? Plus with Harmony's special involvement with that whole bit, being that the powers he controls initially made Scadrial and presumably its Cognitive space, would that not give him a special ability to interact with Scadrial and it's placement, including maintaining its Cognitive Space during the transfer? 0 recneps he/him
How do you transfer it to the Cognitive Realm? You can't use a Perpendicularity, because no Shard's Perpendicularity would be big enough.

That's a minor obstacle for most worlds, but Scadrial could reasonably be converted into a Perpendicularity on its own, probably, if Harmony really wanted to do it. Plus, who's to say that due to the Shards that straight up created it wouldn't render it the ability to cross into the Cognitive, sort of like how the Dor got to be the way it is, as long as the one doing the crossing held both the Shards of Preservation and Ruin (or now Harmony, depending on how that works).
