I watched a lot of Transformers cartoons as a kid (a lot), and Starscream was actually sniveling and whiny and desiring leadership but too weak and cowardly to take command. That isn't Taravangian. I think you're upset about how you think his story is going to go. He bent the knee but he isnt sniveling or cowardly and we have no idea what dynamic he will have with Odium or what Sanderson has planned for him. I compared him to starscream because i can't think of others villain(at the time of writing the comment about him) as close to what i am trying to compare. Obviously there are clear differences between them but you should get the gist of what i'm trying to compare. To each to his own. You can continue to think that Taravangian is still great but i think what personally what made him fascinating as a villain is already over. He's just another Odium's goons to me now Also Sanderson written characters to a direction i didn't expect but i still liked it. This is one of the disappointments i found as a reader. 16 hours ago, NoiseSpren said: This can mean only one thing because this is Brandon. There will be some way bigger chaos-maker. For example in WoT after Ishamaels death other great Forsaken appeared on screen. In bigger numbers. Ps: I know that WoT wrote Jordan (most of it), but I think this will be similar. I suppose that can happen since Sanderson already killed the notable human antagonists(except Mr. T and Moash). Btw regarding Ishy from WoT Spoiler It never felt like he was ever out of the picture even after he died. It was implied that he was playing the grand chess game and he was kinda in the same page with DO. Edited July 27, 2018 by goody153

Bigmikey357 he/him Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Redemption arcs are all well and good. I like them, at least the way Brandon writes them. I have issues with characters who betray. That's why Amaram was so despicable to me, why Sadeas annoyed me. I didn't mind Moash even at the end of WOR. He was an unsophisticated man thrust into events far beyond him. I almost don't mind that he killed Elkohar. But that pithy bridge 4 salute, knowing that would break the heart of one he called friend, and continuing to do the wrong things that serve no purpose to himself? As much as I hate it I can see a way for Moash to be redeemed. Just not as a Binder of Gods.
