During Dalinar and Navani's wedding the Stormfather mentions that Navani has broken oaths before. Um.... What oath? Is this supposed to be obvious? Did she cheat on Gavilar? Leave the ardentia? Leave the ghostbloods? Break a previous engagement? Is she older than we the think and abandoned either the oathpact or a spren bond? Did she promise not to bear another child? We have WoB on that she was once planned to beva flashback character, and I would assume that this oathbreaking is part of why her past was considered interesting enough to warrant flashbacks. 2

That in itself says Navani has an interesting past. 2
