[Spoilers] Reaction Zahel's "Abilities" and could he Awaken a Honor/Shard blade? [Spoilers]

As an introduction to this topic, and the fact that WoR has been out for two weeks, I think it is safe for me to say that Zahel is really our favorite hobo scholar Returned Vasher. Also I don't know the spoiler command, please tell me!

From a WoB Vasher is on Roshar because "He can get something easier on there". I am paraphrasing this of course and I am using my phone to write this topic so its kinda hard to find the official quote. We are safe to assume that instead of Breath to survive he is using Stormlight. We are also safe to assume that he is on Roshar because of Hoid. There is evidence on this on Hoid's PoV chapter and he says "perfect pitch made everything easier". This evidence supports that Vasher traded his Breath to Hoid in return Hoid had to transport Vasher to Roshar.

I am guessing that Vasher also inhales Stormlight like a KR but instead of using his body kind of like a Stormlight battery he consumes it. I am also guessing he still has his Awakener abilities but they are slightly different. He probably doesn't have the Breath tier benefits.

The firsy point of this topic is could Vasher Awaken a Honor and or Shardblade? I personally say yes. Using the correct ideals that go with the dead spren's order he could awaken the blade. From this he could temporarily gain the order's abilities. I am guessing if this did happen, a crap of Investiture would have to be used. I am not sure about Awakening Honorblades though.

Now the second point of this topic is to guess who will find out Vasher's little secret and where. I personally think Alodin will find out in a strange turn of events. My second theory is that Kaladin will give Zahel the Honorblade and with it, he will fight Szeth and Nightblood. Vasher will reveal his abilities here when he mega Awakens stuff. Or he will awaken a Shardblade and fight Szeth.

I don't think you can Invest an Invested object (kinda the same way you can't Awaken a person-their Innate Investiture). 

 

I also think that Vasher is on Roshar probably to get Nightblood back.  Whether losing NIghtblood predates his desire to use Stormlight instead of Breath I'm not sure of (He might have gone to Roshar to use Stormlight, and then lost Nightblood, or lost Nightblood and is trying to get him back, using the Stormlight to power himself, or if Nightblood was the price of his going to Roshar).

 

I can't remember the Heightenings, but Vasher at least has Lifesense, since he can tell when Kaladin is about to visit him in his hut.

It's been years since he lost/gave up Nightblood in WOB Brandon said that he feels responsable for it. 

I think Hoid is quite capable of acquiring 'Breath' or anything he wants or needs on his own, i don't think Vasher just gave it to him

Fourth, assuming (and I'm guessing it's probably a warranted assumption) that he's suppressing (as always) the one that makes him Returned.

Has anyone yet discussed the mechanics of how Zahel uses Stormlight to replace the Breath his body must consume at the end of each week? (In that I'm wondering if he has to breathe in Stormlight from spheres, or take walks in highstorms, or...) I bet he doesn't do that last though--wouldn't be long before everyone started to talk about that 'storming crazy ardent swordmaster who takes walks in highstorms."

Agreed with the point on Hoid--Hoid's been playing Pokemon with all the Cosmere magic systems. I don't think he needs to trade with Vasher to obtain breath.

Yep, Hoid already said that he's ready to destroy Roshar, if it will help him achieve his goal. Although, he's trying not to. So, yeah, Hoid pretty much confessed that if he wants something, he will get it, no matter what.
